SERMON FOR TODAY
Topic: WHAT QUALIFIES YOU FOR THE GLORY OF GOD

_Anchor: “HE CAN’T FAIL” – because the God of Glory carries His sons to fulfilment_

INTRO: What is the Glory of God?
Exodus 33:18-19 – Moses: _“I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.”_ God answered: _“I will make all my goodness pass before thee”_
Hebrews 1:3 – Jesus is _“the brightness of his glory”_

Theology: God’s Glory _kavod_ = weight, presence, goodness, manifest power. It’s not just light. It’s God Himself showing up. And the question is: Who gets to carry it without crashing?

3 THINGS THAT QUALIFY YOU FOR THE GLORY – With Bible References

1. SONSHIP, NOT SERVANTHOOD – The Spirit of Adoption
Romans 8:17-18 – _“And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ… For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”_
2 Corinthians 3:18 – _“But we all… are changed into the same image from glory to glory”_

Explanation: Glory rests on sons, not servants. Servants run from God’s presence _Exodus 20:18-19_. Sons run to the Father’s embrace _Luke 15:20_. The Spirit of adoption _Rom 8:15_ is the “glory-carrier”. You qualify for glory when you stop working for acceptance and start resting in sonship. _HE CAN’T FAIL_ because sons are born to carry family glory _Isaiah 46:4 “I will bear”_.

2. PURITY/CLEAN VESSEL – Emptied of Self
2 Timothy 2:21 – _“If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.”_
Matthew 5:8 – _“Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.”_
Isaiah 6:1-5 – Isaiah saw God’s glory only after _“woe is me… I am a man of unclean lips”_ was purged.

Explanation: Glory is heavy. A dirty, proud, bitter vessel cracks under it _2 Cor 4:7 “treasure in earthen vessels”_. God doesn’t put new wine in old wineskins _Mark 2:22_.

*LET US PRAY!*

Today, I declare over my life and my household that God has delivered us from the striving of the tongues of men, therefore, the snare of the fowler will not catch us, and our feet shall continue to escape the trap laid to entrap us. God’s loving kindness that is better than life itself is our portion, therefore, the positive force of divine destiny has propelled us into greatness.
My seed will not beg for bread; they will not, under any condition, be slaves. God has established my family right at the top, where it belongs. Shouts of rejoicing and victory shall never cease from my household. The harbinger of bad news shall continue to be far from my doorstep. God has put a new song in my mouth, His power has delivered me, His mercy will always keep me. God's peace is with me, His name protects me, and His shadow covers me. I shall continue to rejoice in the Lord. In Jesus’ name, I believe and I say, Amen.
