▪️"He who discovers God, discovers everything".

▪️There is a popular assumption that the greatest discovery in life is you, but not true.
▪️God is the greatest discovery in life. Why? All things are embedded in Him.
▪️Through Him, all things were made, without Him nothing was made that has been made (see John 1:3).
▪️In God lies all wisdom, interventions, intelligence, skills and everything that any mortal can image.
▪️The greatest encounter is that one you have with God, thereafter, all other encounters follow.
▪️There was a man called Simpson who discovered Chloroform (liquid drug) and many other medicines. He was also a man of God. He was asked what he considered to be the greatest discovery in life. He said it was not the drugs or medicine he made. He said his greatest discovery has been to know that he is a sinner and that he can be saved by the grace of God.
▪️There was also a billionaire man in the history of America called John D Rock Fella. He was a believer. He was accused by the media that he was giving too much to the church. He replied them and said, "what is your business?" And that it was God that gave him the wealth. He served in God's house as a warden or a keeper or a guard.
▪️If you are in God, you will see further than all other men.
▪️When this is in place, your wisdom, wealth and exploits will be extraordinary and you will become a wonder.
▪️But if you neglect God, you may become irrelevant.
▪️Those who seek God, gets to the peak of their destiny.
▪️God is always available. Seek Him through the study of His word, be prayerful, give His word a priority, eat it and digest it.
▪️Consume the Word steadfastly. This is a path to discovering God

💥 Heavenly Father, I receive grace and wisdom now, to seek You the more, in Jesus' name.

✍️ When the fire of God rests in you, it doesn't consume you.
✍️ We have epileptic Christians because of the lack of the fire of God.
✍️ If you carry fire as a child of God, witches can't oppress you.
✍️ Without fire, you cannot serve God effectively. John the Baptist told people coming to him to be baptized that he can only baptize them with water but there's One coming after him, who will Baptize them with fire.
✍️ when the fire of God resides in you, it settles every matter concerning your life.
✍️ The fire of God is not what most people think.
✍️ The reason you are struggling with your enemies is because you lack the fire of God.
✍️ Any man or woman that carries the fire of God cannot be subdued by the devil.
✍️ People shout the "fire of God" everywhere, they often use it to scare, to threaten or dominate but most people misunderstand what the fire of God truly is.
✍️ If you have the fire of God, there are so many things you will not bother yourself about.
✍️ The fire of God is not an uncontrointimidation not emotional or spiritual intimidation.
✍️ God's fire is not meant to destroy people but meant to deal with what destroys people.
✍️ The fire of God is not for showmanship.
✍️ In the Bible, fire represents God's presence. Moses met God in the burning bush that was on fire, yet not consumed.
✍️ Anytime God shows up, His fire reveals, awakens or revives and calls, not to terrorize.
✍️ God's fire pilurifies like gold refined in fire.
✍️ His presence removes pride, fear and hidden sin, not to shame us but to make us whole.
✍️ On the day of Pentecost, fire rested on te disciples, not to burn them but to empower them.
✍️ God's fire gives boldness, clarity of plan and purpose.
✍️ Gods fire gives the authority to live out His plan and purpose.
✍️ The fire of God is His holy presence that transforms, refines, empowers anclosers us closer.
✍️ If God's fire truly rest on you, it will not leave you broken, ir will leave you changes and transformed.
✍️ God always want to set the fire on because He intends to restore.
✍️ Therefore, the fire doesn't just burn away what shouldn't remain, it also ignite what must remain and live within you.
✍️ Furthermore, it sets your heart ablaze with a deep passion for God.
✍️ The fire of God serves a divine purpose. It fills you with strength, burns sicknesses, delivers etc.
✍️ The fire of God give you the ability to evangelize.
✍️ God knows how to fireproof us. He said, "I will be unto you as a wall of fire" (see Zech.2:5)
✍️ Fire is the symbol of God. Without fire in your life, you can't serve God effectively.
✍️ It is impossible to live for Jesus without the fire of God in your life.
✍️ The fire of God is tangible.
✍️ The fire of God heals, purifies, delivers, comforts, protects, preserves, and much more. It brings refreshing to you.
✍️ Any church you see the more of God, is an indication that fire is there.
✍️ The fire of God burns, convicts and purges.
✍️ It consumes every impurity leaving behind men and women forged in holiness, ready for His purpose. Let the fire burn.
✍️ The fire of God quickens your mortal body.
✍️ The fire of God is the move of God's power. It is time to run with the fire of God.
✍️ There are things that can make you lose the fire of God. Put pride, selfishness, unforgiveness, anger, addiction, fornication, adultery, selfis ways, evil spirit, etc.
✍️ This is what you have to do to keep the fire burning. Give the fire of God something to burn.
✍️ If you want to start well and end well, you need the Holy Ghost and fire. That was the case of Samson.
✍️ If you feel your fire is dying, give the altar of God or fire, something to burn. You'll begin to say no to the flesh, secret sins, pursuit of wealth, and you'll see God turning things around.
✍️ You begin to say "NO" to the flesh and "YES" to the Holy Spirit.
✍️ Fire is the nature and character of God.
✍️ Fire is the language and communication of God. It is the culture of God e.g Elijah as a case study
✍️ In every congregation, fire provokes the move of God.
✍️ Make up your mind to yield your totality to God.

✍️ The heart of a man is what God looks at.
✍️ A lot of us profess to be Christians but we deny the power of God.
✍️ When your heart is with God, you have everything.
✍️ Whatever you want to achieve in life is connected to your heart.
✍️ Someone who has no desire to change, can never change because change comes from the heart.
✍️ Willingness beings about complete change and transformation.
✍️ Humility is tied to willingness.
✍️ It is someone who is humble that can have a willing heart.
✍️ Until a man rejects negativity in his life, he is not willing to change.
✍️ You can do anything for someone but cannot choose for him/her. He/she has the power to choose.
✍️ Change is a decision.
✍️ A willing heart is a human who is ready to change.
✍️ God only sends a man with a willing heart.
✍️ If you want your life to be transformed, make sure you are on God's side.
✍️ A willing heart is a heart that is ready to serve.
✍️ A willing heart does not only limit its service to God but also to man.
✍️ The willingness of your heart connects you to God and man.
✍️ If you can make up your mind to follow God with a willing heart, your life becomes heaven on earth.
✍️ It is your mindset that makes you a help to others.
✍️ A willing heart doesn't seek recognition from man

✍️ Satan is after your heart, just as God is after your heart. Anyone who possesses your heart will use it to your benefit or destruction.
✍️ Anything you are going through is part of what proceeded from your heart (see Prov.4:23).
✍️ If your heart departs from God, it means your trust is in man (i.e when man takes the place of God in your life; when you make flesh your arm) .
✍️ The heart can easily be contaminated.
✍️ No heart is willing except after going through spiritual surgical operation which brings about Kingdom alignment.
✍️ The reason why the devil is directing the affairs of your life is because you are already cold.

🤔 Do you know that the One smiling with you might also be the One killing you?

✍️ Different types of people around you who can make your heart, contaminated.

1) Take bearers/Gossips

2) Those who refuse to obey and listen to instruction

3) People who are hypocrites

4) People who do not fear God.

🍲FOOD FOR THOUGHT🍲
🍲 "Every battle in life begins in the mind".

▪️The mind is important, you need a picture of your future. If you can manage yiur mind, you can mange your life because out of it are the issues of life.
▪️Evwey battle in life has a question paper or examination.
▪️Many people fail because they try to copy others, not realizing that everyone has a different question paper.
▪️We don't grow when things are easy, we grow when we face challenges.
▪️Battles may occur where people don't see it. Many battles are fought in the mind.
▪️This is so, that is why the enemy fill our thoughts with lies, giving us a wrong picture that we are failing, unworthy, magnifying our fears and trying to convince us that God could never use someone like us.
▪️But a lie only has power when it is believed.
▪️Satan does not have the power to change God's truth.
▪️He can only tey to bend it. That is the reason why scripture calls him the father of lies.
▪️His greatest weapon has always been deception but God's word is our greatest defense.
▪️This is why your heart must be filled with the knowledge of God's word.
▪️Every battle of life starts from your mind.
▪️Your mind is the seat of knowledge.

▪️There are different battles of life, such as;

1) INHERITED BATTLES
▪️These are hangovers from parents, community, family etc.

2) SELF-INFLICTED BATTLES
▪️This is the battle you caused by yourself.

3) BATTLES OF ADDICTION
▪️The battles caused by wrong attitude or practice.

4) BATTLES OF GROWTH
▪️The battles caused by the ability to increase in life.

5) BATTLES OF YOUR MIND, MENTALITY etc

▪️So from today, guard your heart and your mind.
▪️Fill your thoughts with God's promises instead of the enemy's accusations.
▪️Do not allow fear, guilt or insecurity to build a home in your mind.
▪️Replace every lie with the truth of God's word and stand firm in the confidence of who you are in Christ.

Text: 1Tim.2:8, Exo. 17:11, Ps.141:2

🍲FOOD FOR THOUGHT🍲
▪️"Lifting your hands in prayer, opens your spirit to divine inspirational strength".

▪️From our text, the Bible asks us to pray with out hands lifted.
▪️It is not a mere practice, it is a spiritual signal of victory or a declaration of victory.
▪️There is always a spiritual connectivity when you lift your hands in prayer, praise and worship to the Lord.
▪️In Exodus 17:11, when Moses lifted his hands during Israel's battle with Amalek, Israel prevailed but when his hands grew tired and came down, the enemy prevailed.
▪️But Aaron and Hur had to wisely improvise to make his hands stay up continuously. When the hands were lifted, victory was assured.
▪️They discovered something spiritual that worked; something not even commanded in the law. This was the same thing Paul declared in our text of today's reading.
▪️When you lift your hands in prayers, your spirit is open to divine inspirational strength and power.
▪️It makes no difference the challenges you might be facing right now, perhaps or maybe you have not been doing it consistently yet.
▪️So, often lift your hands as you pray. Lift them in faith as a sign that you have prevailed.
▪️Your hands have a role to play as you pray, praise and worship God.
▪️The spirit may move you to stretch your hands, clap, cut down or stretch your hands in a particular direction; this is spiritual.
▪️Elisha told the King, "Open the window Eastward and shoot". (see 2Kgs.13:17). It was a prophetic action with spirit significance.
▪️It is the same way when you lift your hands in prayer, you are enacting victory in the realm of the spirit, knowing that it is a declaration of victory.
▪️As you pray, praise and worship God, utter words by the spirit, having the assurance that in Christ Jesus, you are victorious forever.

🤔 Do you often lift your hands when you pray, praise and worship God?
