*BY: ARCHBISHOP M. E. BENSON IDAHOSA*

*TUESDAY MARCH 17TH, 2026*

*YOU ARE GENTLE*

*GALATIANS . 5:22 (GNB, KJV, CEV, TPT), 1THESSALONIANS. 2:7, 2TIMOTHY. 2:24*

*But the Spirit produces …kindness…"But the fruit of the Spirit is …gentleness…"God's Spirit makes us …kind…"But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is …kindness in action…"But we were gentle among you, even as a nurse cherisheth her children: "As the Lord's servant, you must not quarrel. You must be kind toward all, a good and patient teacher.*

God is at work in you by His Spirit, making you willing and able to always be as gentle as He is (Phil. 2:13). You are as gentle as the Holy Spirit. One of the attributes of the wisdom that flows from above is that it is gentle (James 3:17). Gentleness is a major manifestation of God's wisdom.

God’s nature of gentleness in you causes you to behave moderately, kindly and rightly at all times, especially in the way you handle and relate with people. It makes you careful and able to avoid being unnecessarily harsh, irrational or extreme in the way you comport yourself and in your dealings with others. Gentleness makes you caring, merciful, kind and gracious towards others, no matter their behaviour towards you. It is what makes you harmless as a dove as Jesus instructed in Matthew 10:16. Being gentle makes you attractive and easily accessible. It makes people enjoy relating with you. It was Jesus' gentleness that drew even little children to Him (Luke 18:15-16). It also drew many others, particularly those who were considered sinners.

See people as God sees them. It will affect how you treat them. See them as people in need of God’s grace and mercy. Apply honour and dignity in your interactions with people.

*PRAYER:*
Father, I thank you for your nature of gentleness in me. Help me to be more caring, merciful, kind and gracious towards others.

YOU ARE PATIENT

*GALATIANS 5:22 (GNB, KJV, CEV, TPT); HEBREWS 6:10 (TPT)*
*But the Spirit produces... patience...*But the fruit of the Spirit is... longsuffering...*God’s Spirit makes us… patient....*But the fruit produced by the Holy Spirit within you is… patience that endures...*So don’t allow your hearts to grow dull or lose your enthusiasm, but follow the example of those who fully received what God has promised because of their strong faith and patient endurance.*

God is at work in you by His Spirit, making you willing and able to always be as patient as He is (Philippians 2:13). God’s nature of patience in you enables you to endure, persist, and persevere in every circumstance, just like God does. It enables you to bear your circumstances, no matter how long it takes. The Amplified Bible uses both the phrase “an even temper” and the word “forbearance” to expand the meaning of the word patience. Some versions of the Bible use the word “leniency.”
You have the ability to be patient towards God, patient with people, and also patient in various situations.

Despite how long it was taking for God’s promise of a child to manifest in the life of Abraham, the Bible indicates that he did not stagger at God’s promise. Instead, Abraham remained strong in faith, giving glory to God. He was fully persuaded that God would perform what He had promised him (Romans 4:20–21).
Beloved, God will perform what He has promised you because God is faithful. Remain steadfast in your faith and continue giving glory to God. Maintain a good attitude. As you wait upon God, He will continue to renew your strength (Isaiah 40:31). The testing of your faith is putting your patience to work (James 1:3–4), and it is building your character in preparation for the manifestation of your desire. Keep trusting in God’s great love for you (Romans 5:3–5).

FAITH DECLARATION:
I AM PATIENT. GOD’S NATURE OF PATIENCE IN ME ENABLES ME TO ENDURE, PERSIST, AND PERSEVERE IN ALL CIRCUMSTANCES.

*YOU ARE PEACEFUL*

*GALATIANS 5:22-23 (NIV), JOHN 14:27, ISAIAH 26:3 (ESV)*
*But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self- control. Against such things there is no law. *"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. *You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.*

God is at work in you by His Spirit, making you willing and able to always be as peaceful as He is (Phil. 2:13). God’s nature of peace in you keeps you calm and unafraid, even amidst challenges, troubles and storms. Jesus has given you His own peace. There was no situation strong enough to shake Jesus and cause Him to lose His peace. Instead of being troubled by storms or influenced by the insecurity of others, He brought calm to the storms and stirred up faith in others. This is your testimony also because you have the same peace that Jesus has.

The peace we have with God (because of Christ’s sacrifice for us) is what guarantees us divine peace in every area of our lives. Your peace is also born out of your revelation of who God is and of God's great will and presence that abides with you. God is our Shepherd who leads you beside still waters (Psa. 23:1-2). The peace of God in you makes you whole and able to hear God's voice, think straight and make progress no matter your circumstances. By this peace of God, Apostle Paul was able to strengthen and encourage others when he was in a troubled sea with them (Acts 27:20-22). Because of your faith in Christ, you now do everything you do from a place of rest (Heb. 4:3). You live your life with confidence and boldness as you walk in line with God's will, no matter the situation prevailing around you.

*FAITH DECLARATION:*
*I AM PEACEFUL. NOTHING STEALS MY PEACE OR TAKES ME FROM MY PLACE OF REST IN GOD. I USE GOD’S PEACE IN ME TO CALM STORMS. ✨🙏*

YOU ARE JOYFUL

GALATIANS 5:22-23, ZEPHANIAH 3:17, ISAIAH 12:3, ROMANS 14:17

*But the fruit of the Spirit is... joy... *The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy, he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. *Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.*

God is at work in you by His Spirit, making you willing and able to be as joyful as He is (Phil. 2:13). Just as no situation can stop God from rejoicing and being exceedingly glad, no situation can stop you from being glad and joyful because you are born of God and you bear His joyful nature. God’s nature of joy in you causes you to rejoice and be glad in God in both good and trying times. It makes you serve God and carry out His will wholeheartedly, no matter your circumstances. While in chains after being falsely accused and beaten, Paul and Silas could still pray and sing praises to God in prison because of the joy of the Lord that resided in them, Acts 16:22-25.

Your joy is fueled by your revelation of who God is, the love and marvelous things God has done for you in Christ and also by the will and plans God has for your life. Your joy is based on things that are eternal, (2Cor.4:18). You walk by faith and not by sight. Your eyes are always fixed on your glorious realities in God and not the temporal lying vanities that you may be experiencing in the natural. Your joy is not based on whether things are working around you; rather your joy causes things to work (Joel 1:12). God is always rejoicing over you. You are the joy that was set before Christ that compelled Him to endure the cross and despise the shame. He was to endure (Heb. 12:2).

FAITH DECLARATION:
I AM JOYFUL. GOD'S NATURE OF JOY IS IN ME. I REJOICE IN GOD ALWAYS NO MATTER MY CIRCUMSTANCE. MY JOY IS MY VICTORY.

*FAITH DECLARATION VS. POSITIVE CONFESSIONS*

*Hebrews 13:5-6 (NKJV), 2Corinthians 4:13 (TPT)*

*Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” *We have the same Spirit of faith that is described in the Scriptures when it says, “First I believed, then I spoke in faith.” So we also first believe then speak in faith.*

Though there are some similarities between faith declarations and positive confessions, they are not the same. Positive confessions are good, but some people make positive confessions or say positive things just because they don’t want to sound negative. Faith declarations, on the other hand, are words we declare because of our faith in Christ and because the Word of God says so. Every time you confess God’s Word, you are declaring your faith. You are joining God to say what He is saying about you. Faith comes from hearing the Gospel (Rom. 10:17).

When we give voice to God’s Word, the angels of God hearken to God’s Word and manifests it in our lives (Psa. 103:20). As believers, our lives are from God’s Word (1Pet. 1:23, Matt. 4:4). As believers, we declare God’s Word to renew or program our minds to align with God’s truth (Rom. 12:2), and we declare God’s Word to exercise and enforce our victory. God wants us to stand on His Word until it manifests in our lives or situations. God’s word cannot return to him void (Isa. 55:11). When we return God’s word to Him, that word prospers and accomplishes its purposes in our lives. God is not a man that He should lie. If He says it, He will do it (Num. 23:19). All the promises of God are yes and amen because of Christ (2Cor. 1:20). They are your reality already, so declare them either in past or present tense.

*Action Point:*
Pray in the Spirit and declare God’s Word and promises over your life and situation.

YOUR CHILDREN SHALL BE TAUGHT OF THE LORD

*ISAIAH 54:13 (KJV, CEV, NLT, AMPC)*
*And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children. *I will teach your children and make them successful. *I will teach all your children, and they will enjoy great peace. *And all your [spiritual] children shall be disciples [taught by the Lord and obedient to His will], and great shall be the peace and undisturbed composure of your children.*

In addition to knowing and declaring this prophecy in our text over your children, it is important that you create the right atmosphere and desire in them to know God, hear His voice, and follow His ways.

If you don’t want your children to depart from the way of the Lord when they are old, teach them the way of the Lord when they are young (Prov. 22:6). Expose them to the things of God. Pray for them and teach them the Gospel. Take them to church and also display the faith and life of Christ before them. Apostle Paul spoke about Timothy’s genuine faith that was both in his mother and grandmother (2Tim. 1:5). He later spoke of how from childhood, Timothy had known the holy scriptures that filled him with the wisdom to put his faith in Christ for salvation (2Tim. 3:15). Hannah dedicated her son Samuel to God and presented him at the Temple as she had promised (1Sam. 1:24-28). Samuel eventually grew to become one of Israel’s greatest prophets. As a young boy, Joseph and Mary always carried Jesus with them to the temple (Luke 2:41-42). God was confident that Abraham would teach and command his children and household to follow him in His righteous ways (Gen. 18:19). There was no Law at that time, and the Bible tells us the Gospel was preached to Abraham (Gal. 3:8). Abraham must have been teaching his family and household about Christ.

PRAYER:
FATHER, PLEASE HELP ME TO TEACH AND GUIDE MY CHILDREN IN THE WAYS OF CHRIST. MAY THEY ALWAYS BE TAUGHT OF YOU AND HAVE GREAT PEACE.
