BRIEF HISTORY OF JESUS LOVES OKRIKA (KIRIKEBE-SE) GOSPEL CAMPAIGN TEAM
The ministry of JESUS LOVES OKRIKA GOSPEL CAMPAIGN TEAM is an inter denominational and non-denominational Christian Organization. There were Christian denominations (Churches) in Okrika nationality before this ministry came to be. There existed a spiritual vacuum despite the existence of these churches. Most of these denominati

ons narrowly pursued their own agenda. It is worthy of note that some youths who were from Okrika nationality became committed Christian through the Scripture Union (S.U.), just after the Nigeria Civil War that ended in 1970. These zealous Youths had a burden for the salvation of every Okrika person. Therefore it was firmly and solemnly resolved that there is a great need to pray and labour for the liberation of Wakirikebe-se from the multifarious social vices such as inter and intra-communal clashes affecting the peace of Wakirikebe-Se. In other to avert these monster of destruction and evil that brings reproach to our indivisible and indissoluble towns, to the end that the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ may be presented to everyone, For the purpose of promoting and enhancing Our Spiritual welfare by creating a forum for encouraging one another as well as preserving and consolidating the peace and unity af Okrika Nationality. JESUS LOVES OKRIKA GOSPEL CAMPAIGN TEAM was born in November 1975 and to meet up the needs and spiritual demands at that time. WHAT GOD HAS DONE WITH AND THROUGH THIS MINISTRY OVER THE YEARS IN ITS EVANGELISTIC EFFORT JUST TO MENTION A FEW;

1. There is salvation of many souls through evangelistic effort of this ministry.
2. The ministry have trained and raised Christian leaders of which some of them are currently Pastors, Bishops, Ministers, General Overseers and Prominent personalities serving in various capacities.
3. Through the prayers of the ministry relative peace is maintained in Wakirikebe-Se and its environs to a very great extent.
4. Many idolatrous practices have been exchanged with Christian religion practices.
5. Promotion of the Okrika language by preaching/teaching of the gospel in the Okrika dialect.
6. The act of destroying, displacement and unusual reversal of the glory of Okrika land by both internally and externally always go fruitlessness. Membership is therefore open for all sons and daughters of the land for the well-being of our Wakirikebe-se
