NEW NATIONAL PRESIDENT, EXCO EMERGES FOR APOSTOLIC CHURCH NIGERIA
.. As Pastor Oladele Becomes 4th Substantive National President
A new National President has emerged for The Apostolic Church Nigeria, following a National Council election that has produced Pastor Dr. L. O. Oladele as the fourth substantive National President to succeed Pastor Dr. S. E. Igwe.
Pastor Oladele from Lagos, Western and Northern Area (LAWNA territory) was favoured, Thursday February 6, to become the new leader of Church in Nigeria, after national council members of the Church voted him to take over from Igwe, who has completed his tenure.
The general council has also voted others to serve alongside Pastor Oladele in the National Executive Council, including the National Vice President, National Secretary and Deputy, among others.
Emerging as the new National Vice President is Pastor E. U. Johnson from Akwa Ibom State Territory, who the current Field Superintendent of Ikot Abasi and the incoming Akwa Ibom State Territorial Chairman; as Prof. B. B. Fakae has emerged as the new National Secretary; Pastor Isaac Awotanmi, Ph.D, with Deputy National Secretary and Pastor Odionka Nyong as the National Finance Chairman.
Pastor Dr S. E. Igwe, became the third National President of the Church after Pastor Dr. G. O. Olutola, and has completed his tenure in line with the new constitution of the Church nationally.
