ES Paul Revealing God through his word

Many a life is like the fig tree Jesus approached. From a distance, the fig tree looked healthy — its leaves were green and attractive to behold. But when Jesus and His disciples got close, their expectations were cut short. How is it that a tree in season, showing every sign of healthy living, had no fruit?

Are you better than that fig tree? It’s a polar question. Whether you answer right or wrong, your conscience and God stand as witness.

From afar, people see you and call you an angel. But up close, there is nothing to admire. You appear pious behind the lectern and on the dais, yet in your tabernacle lurks the spirit of lust. You entrap the young, exploit them, and imprison them with the Bible.

Ponder this: Are you better than the fig tree? And remember how the fig tree ended — withered by Jesus’ word — before comeuppance and retribution visit you.

If the ax is dull, and one does not sharpen the edge, then he must use more strength; but wisdom brings success.
The strength required to sharpen the edge can never compare to the effort needed when it's dull.

“There may be some sins of which a man cannot speak, but there is no sin which the blood of Christ cannot wash away.”

Before you call yourself a prophet or an apostle, stop and think.

Isaiah was killed for the Gospel we enjoy today.
Peter was crucified upside down.
John was persecuted and sent into exile.
Paul was executed for preaching Christ.

They did not build big churches.
They won souls.

Today, many people carry titles.
Few understand the sacrifice behind the calling.

A calling is not for making money.
A calling is for God and for winning souls.

Ask yourself.
Why is prayer difficult but movies are easy?
Why is the Bible ignored but gossip spreads fast?

Think about it.

Based on the image provided, here is an analysis of its content:

Description of the Image
The image is an illustration that depicts a scene from early Islamic history. The central figure, identified as a prophet by the dialogue and his visual representation (bearded, wearing a turban and robes), is addressing a crowd of people. The style is realistic and historical.

The image uses speech bubbles to create a dialogue:

* Top Left Bubble: The central figure says, "I have a message from Allah." This establishes his role as a messenger delivering a divine revelation.

* Top Right Bubble: A man in the crowd asks, "What is the message, O Prophet?" This confirms the central figure's status as a prophet and sets up the delivery of the message.

* Bottom Bubble: The central figure delivers the message: "Whatever we gain from caravan raids and wars, I get 20% (Surah 8:41)." This statement cites a specific verse from the Quran.

Analysis of the Text and Reference
The text in the image refers to a historical and religious concept known as Khums (Arabic for "one-fifth"). The citation Surah 8:41 refers to the 41st verse of the 8th chapter of the Quran, Surah Al-Anfal (The Spoils of War).
The full verse in the Quran (Sahih International translation) reads:

> "And know that anything you obtain of war b***y - then indeed, for Allah is one-fifth of it and for the Messenger and for [his] near relatives and the orphans, the needy, and the traveler, if you have believed in Allah and in that which We sent down to Our Servant on the day of criterion - the day when the two armies met. And Allah, over all things, is competent."

Comparison and Context
* Accuracy: The image accurately reflects that the Quran, in Surah 8:41, designates 20% (one-fifth) of the spoils of war for a specific purpose.

* Simplification: The text in the image ("I get 20%") is a simplification of the full verse. The Quran specifies that this one-fifth share is allocated for "Allah, the Messenger, his near relatives, the orphans, the needy, and the traveler." The Prophet Muhammad would administer this share for the benefit of the community, including his family and the poor, as outlined in the verse. It was not solely for his personal enrichment. The remaining 80% was typically distributed among the soldiers who participated in the battle.

* Historical Context: The reference to "caravan raids and wars" is historically accurate for the context of the early Islamic community in Medina, which engaged in military campaigns.

In summary, the image illustrates the historical Quranic injunction regarding the distribution of spoils of war, specifically the one-fifth share (khums). However, the caption simplifies the allocation by stating "I get 20%," whereas the full verse specifies a broader set of recipients, including the needy and orphans, whose share was administered by the Prophet.

‎ There Is NOT One Qur’an

‎Muslims confidently say, “We have only one Qur’an, perfectly preserved, word for word since Muhammad.”
‎But this claim collapses the moment you look at real history, real manuscripts, and even Islam’s own traditions.

‎Here are the four facts that destroy the “one Qur’an” myth.

‎1. The Early Muslims Themselves Admitted Multiple Versions

‎Islamic sources record companions of Muhammad having different Qur’ans:

‎Ibn Mas‘ud’s Qur’an reportedly did not include Surah 1, 113, and 114.
‎Ubayy ibn Ka‘b’s Qur’an had two extra surahs not in today’s Qur’an.
‎Other companions disagreed on wording, ordering, and recitations.

‎If early Muslims all had one Qur’an, why didn’t Muhammad’s closest followers agree on what belongs inside it?

‎2. Uthman Destroyed Other Qur’ans

‎The third caliph, Uthman, did something Muslims rarely admit:

‎He burned all competing Qur’anic manuscripts.

‎You only burn books when the books don’t match.
‎If there was “only one Qur’an,” Uthman wouldn’t need to collect and destroy the others.
‎This was a political standardization, not a miraculous preservation.

‎Islam didn’t preserve a perfect Qur’an
‎Islam enforced one version by destroying the rest.

‎3. The Qur’an Today Isn’t One, there Are Multiple “Official” Qur’ans

‎Muslims don’t realize it, but the world does NOT read the same Qur’an.

‎There are multiple canonical Qur’ans called “qirā’āt” — Hafs, Warsh, Qalun, Duri, etc.

‎These versions differ in:

‎* vowels
‎* consonants
‎* words
‎* sentence structure
‎* meaning

‎Some differences even change the meaning of a verse:

‎* One Qur’an says “he”
‎* Another says “we”
‎* One says “you believe”
‎* Another says “they believe”

‎These are not accents they are textual differences.

‎If every version is “perfect,” then perfection has multiple forms.
‎If only one is perfect, the others are corrupted.
‎Either way, the Muslim claim fails.

‎4. Early Manuscripts Prove the Qur’an Changed.

‎Manuscripts like the Sana’a Palimpsest show:

‎* erased verses
‎* rewritten sections
‎* wording not found in today’s Qur’an
‎* corrections over corrections

‎This is physical proof of a developing text.

‎If the Qur’an was perfectly preserved, why does the earliest surviving Qur’anic manuscript contain different readings and editing marks?

‎This is exactly what we see in human, evolving documents not divinely protected scripture.

‎One Simple Conclusion**

‎Muslims say:
‎“Only one Qur’an exists."

‎But the facts shows:

‎* Early Muslims used different Qur’ans.
‎* Uthman burned competing Qur’ans.
‎* Today there are multiple canonical Qur’ans, not one.
‎* The earliest manuscripts show textual changes.

‎This is not perfect preservation.
‎This is textual evolution under political control.

‎How are we sure the part Uthman burnt are not where Muhammad declared Jesus to be God?

‎Islam’s strongest claim collapses under its own evidence.

"My name Musa Bello Musa. I was born and brought up in Islamic background. My father is the chief of Fulani local government in Kaduna State. We are predominantly Muslim in that area. My own conversion is a conversion by research, comparison between Bible and the Qur’an.

Qur’an 46:9, Prophet Muhammad said I am not something original, neither something important, neither do I know what will be done to me or be done to you. I am nothing but a clear warner.

Prophet Muhammad is telling his followers that he’s nobody, he doesn’t even know what will be done to him. Immediately I read that verse, the religion that I was practicing, Islam, began to become suspicious to me. How can I be following you when you don’t know where you’re going?

I went back to Bible and I saw that Jesus said He is going to prepare a place in my Father’s house. There are many mansions in my Father’s house, where He will be is where we will be. Christ Jesus gave His followers the assurance of where they will be and where He will be.

Christ Jesus says when someone sl@ps you on the right cheek, turn the left one. But when it comes to Islam, reverse is the case. I don’t see anything like peace in that religion. Islam is by force. The day you decide to leave it, have it at the back of your mind that you have put your life at r!sk. Whoever leaves Islam for another religion, the punishment is k!ll!ng.

My dad also looked at it that I brought shame into his family. He be@t the hell out of my mother and sent her out, saying he will k!ll her if she did not find me. I had to run away for my dear life.

To the glory of God, under our ministry, we have more than 2,000 Fulanis who surrendered their life to Christ..."

- A Fulani ex-Muslim man has sparked debates after sharing the journey that led him to Christianity.
