MOMENT OF REFLECTION
By Rev. Aniki
Topic: ONE ENCOUNTER WITH MERCY CAN REWRITE YOUR HISTORY
Human judgment can tag you, limit you, and conclude your case. People may write you off because of your past, your background, or your mistakes. But one encounter with the mercy of God is enough to cancel years of limitation and rewrite your entire story.
Mephibosheth was crippled, forgotten, and living in Lodebar — a place of no past, no future, no hope. By human standard, his destiny was finished. But one encounter with mercy from King David brought him from Lodebar to the palace, from obscurity to royalty. His story changed in a day!
2-Samuel 9:7 - "And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness... and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually."
Lamentations 3:22-23 "It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning."
Reflection:
You may have been limited by what men said, by where you came from, or by what you did. But mercy does not consult your history before it changes your destiny. Mercy lifts, restores, and repositions.
One touch of divine mercy is more powerful than a lifetime of human limitation.
Remain Blessed.
