The Spirit upon
When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place, and suddenly a sound came from heaven like a rushing violent wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. There appeared to them tongues resembling fire, which were being distributed [among them], and they rested on each one of them [as each person received the Holy Spirit]. And they were all filled [that is, diffused throughout their being] with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues (different languages), as the Spirit was giving them the ability to speak out [clearly and appropriately].
Acts 2:1‭-‬4 AMP

The meeting and waiting at the upper room was concluded by a great Outpouring of the Holy Ghost on those at the upper room. This marked the beginning of the church of the Lord Jesus Christ birthed by the Holy Ghost.
The Outpouring was to put men in their various places, and turn children to Sons. The Outpouring was done ones on earth, and the Holy Ghost has remained with the church ever since.
The Holy Ghost rested on each available vessels. It first came as languages of men as a sign that He came for all men.
The Holy Ghost comes to release and activate what God had deposited in man. The working of the Holy Ghost starts when we give up ourselves totally to God. The more we give up ourselves, the more we allow Him to manifest through us...to be continued.

Putting the ministry in order
“For in the book of Psalms it is written, ‘L et his place of residence become desolate , A nd let there be no one to live in it ’; and [again], ‘L et another take his position as overseer .’ So of the men who have accompanied us during all the time that the Lord Jesus spent with us, beginning with the baptism by John [at the outset of Jesus’ ministry] until the day when He was taken up from us—one of these men must become a witness with us [to testify] of His resurrection.” And they put forward two men, Joseph, the one called Barsabbas (who was surnamed Justus), and Matthias.
Acts 1:20‭-‬23 AMP

Every ministry that is established is ancord on Christ and a solid structure. The disciples of Jesus saw the need to put someone in the position Judas Iscariot left behind. They knew there was a reason Jesus selected twelve, no more no less.
It is not carnality to have a structure that guides the operation of the church. It will ensure continuity, efficiency, and effectiveness . It will also reflect the ordained pattern from God, which is a prerequisite to enforcing the glory of God and also the fulfillment of destiny of the ministry. There's need for the present church to wait patiently on the Lord to put down a solid structure.

Women in ministry
These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
Acts 1:14 KJV

The ministry of Jesus includes some notable women who also helps him in ministering. From his birth to his ministry on earth, death and even resurrection. It's not a coincidence that women fill in strategic moments of the life of Jesus. This is to tell us the significance of women to the ministry.
Women signifies a lot of things spiritually to the ministry. One of the things they signify are gates and doors. Hardship might abound for a minister that lacks the ministry of women in his ministry.
They are also the birthing place of new things.

2. Unity of purpose
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
Acts 2:1 KJV

The church that has spread out today started in one place. They knew what they were doing and expecting. They intentionally waited for the Outpouring. They waited for days before the day was fully come, not just gathering on the day of Pentecost.
For this present generation to experience the same revival,we must also do the same thing they do. We must cast away our differences. We must come together to await the Outpouring for this dispensation. And it should not when we are being attacked, it should be now.

Strategic locations that there were strange occurrences with Jesus
1. Mount of Transfiguration, which was some distance from Caesarea;Mark 9:2-12.
2. The garden of Gethsemane : the agony of Jesus ;Luke 22:39-46.
3. Jerusalem : waiting for the Holy Ghost; Acts 1:4.
4. Galilee : the place where Jesus Christ appeared to His brethren ;Matthew 28:10.
5. Bethany :location of the ascending of Jesus Christ into heaven ;Luke 24:50.

This is to tell us that locations has a lot to do with manifestation of man. We should not be bias so that we won't miss out in life. ..to be continued.

The theme for the new year is BREAKING GROUNDS...

All the land you walk on will be yours. Your land will go from the desert in the south all the way to Lebanon in the north. It will go from the Euphrates River in the east all the way to the Mediterranean Sea. No one will be able to stand against you. The Lord your God will make the people fear you wherever you go in that land. That is what he promised you before.
