YOUTH AND YOUTHFUL
TEXT: EPHESIANS 6 : 11-20.
AIM: To be able to identify, how powerful our youthful can be in order to be watchful
To be able to make the right decision and live in well with our youth, understanding the concept of who we are.
INTRODUCTION!
Youthful is of a word entailing more description about the young (youth), it is an early stage of the young that deals with encountering many and more development, Spiritual development, Physical development, Emotional development, Social development and other aspect of growth
This is a stage they choose what they want to be, physically : forms of identifying themselves who they are, what they want to be, checking on the image they want to mount on.
Emotionally: having the concept of thinking about things to love and hate, people to love and hate, somethings to do and not, feeling the wrong or not, dealing with your affection as a whole.
Socially: creating a circle for yourself, choosing who you want to move with and not to move with, having who to mingle with and not to mingle with.
Spiritual: this is the concept where the youth always get wrong and neglect, they get confuse in working towards the flesh and not the spirit, majority derives joy in of the world and not of the spirit, many are weak even with the right decision, as we all know the journey of life is a battle on it own, in self we cannot handle this alone, but in the spirit we can do more and more, the journey of life sometimes maybe tiring and weakening majorly to the youth, cause they are the target of the devil, wanting them to misbehave and fall, but with the spirit of God and the presence of he, even if we fall we would stand again.
The book of Isaha 40: 30 says, even the young (youth) people get tired, stumble and fall then in verse 31 it say, But those who trust in the lord will find new strength. How are you being weaken, how far have you fall, what are you passing through, what is this issue you are longing on, what is your area of challenges. Tell it to God, he is best in and for it, trust in the lord and he will empower you. Chose him now, prune your social, physical, mental and emotional aspect, for growth to take place. Leave out the vessels that are not useful, not adding to your growth, make up with the one, beneficiary. God help us in Jesus name.
Prayer: Father in our youth don’t let us make a mistake that can’t be corrected.
