LECTURE TOPIC: SPIRITUAL ATTACK, CAUSES, PREVENTION, RESISTANCE AND SOLUTIONS.
Subtopic: Resisting Spiritual Attacks and Solutions.
What is a Spiritual Attack? Is everything an attack?
What does it even feel like?
How is it done?
Why is it done?
Why is a prophet of God affected?
These and more, are the many questions prophets ask.
It's no news that a Prophet on Trance can be attacked and even finished there.
Why?
Let's start with the basics...
WHAT IS A SPIRITUAL ATTACK?
This is an invisible, spiritual damage or impact made from one source to a certain target. Like taking a spiritual punch or slap.
Spiritual Attacks are very possible and even Christ made us know of them. Apostle Paul in his texts also talked about them in Ephesians.
It's a long topic but I'll breeze over it so we can get the main point.
There are different types of attack:
1) Attack on your Gifts
2) Attack on your Spirit
3) Attack on your Soul (this is what upgrades and begins to manifest Physically)
It even continues.
4) Attack on your Spiritual Environment (this is what upgrades and becomes badluck, setback, poverty, etc.. when the spiritual aura is a mess).
So there are many types of attack.
ATTACKS ON GIFTS:
The Prince of Persia in Daniel 10 withstood and resisted violently Daniel's prayer...
So also can these forces resist and block your vision.
This is why we pray for prophets before spiritual consultation.
As a Prophet, whether active or Developing, you must have the understanding that there is always going to be that Prince of Persia that will want to resist your Gifts and turn it around.
It's a fact except you want to deceive yourself.
Some prophets will give message today and be happy then suddenly next 7 months no message again. What happened?
This is why the Bible says we should put on the whole armour of God and it's righteousness.
The breastplate of righteousness...
These forces may be Witches, Wizards, false prophets, wicked prophets, shepherds, your neighbour and so on.
Spiritual Attacks on Gifts is usually the first stage before it upgrades into the Spirit man. Because when the Gift is shut down, there will be no notification that something is coming.
This is why your Gift does not translate to strength.
You may have 9 Gifts and be weak.
The Gift is the notification system. To let you know this is what is happening and the rest is up to you.
Symptoms of Spiritual Attack On Gifts:
Suddenly forgetting dreams and eating in dreams.
Suddenly losing vision and seeing something else.
Suddenly feeling light at heart and empty in spirit.
Note I used the word Suddenly
Attacks tend to manifest suddenly without any initial warning.
You saw clear vision yesterday.. deep and sound.. even did vigil. And suddenly today zero.
Next day someone is hand feeding you in the dream in one bush.
There is fire on the mountain.
The enemies will always want to shut down your Spiritual insight first. That's the first point of contact.
Take away that means of knowing anything or seeing anything.
The devil does not want you to pray.
The devil wants an easy job as well.
He will want you to feel all is well.
If you decide to engage in prayer, the job gets harder for the devil.
This is why we must pray without ceasing as Prophets
Your Gift is not your Spiritual Power.
It is not your Spiritual Strength.
RESISTING ATTACKS ON GIFTS:
Once you observe a discrepancy in the workings of your Gifts, the first thing is to go into isolation (pun intended) go to the source of Gifts.
1) You can decide to cut off from everyone for a day to talk to your God who sent you
2) Go to God in Prayer and Fasting instantly.
3) Navigate your Prayer right.
Praying for blessing or promotion when your vision is getting dull, devil will just be smiling. It will be a comedy show to the forces.
Prayer is the principal key..
Holy Water, Bible and a stick of candle are very handy in such times
ATTACKS ON SPIRIT:
These attacks are on the Spirit man. Not really your gifts. You will still dream fine, see fine, but there will be something else.
You get weaker...
You start eating in dreams...
You start seeing people asking you about yourself in your dream like an interview.
The strength to resist food will be low.
You start eating in dreams and your Physical mouth will be moving in the sleep.
You might even end up waking up and requesting for water.
Attacks on your Spirit man goes down in the Spiritual Realm. These attacks completely relegate a prophet into a nobody if left unchecked.
Sometimes our body reacts to these attacks.
Let me give an example:
Just the way your body reacts to the presence of Holy Spirit via Shaking and all sorts so also does it react to Attack.
Some of these reactions can be:
- Severe Headaches
- Sudden Sickness
- Sudden swelling of a body part
- etc...
You should also know that when these attacks are made, it's not that they are telling the thing to give you headache specifically or they are carrying a physical bow and arrow and firing it at your stomach. No
The enemy doesn't care how it manifests on you, the only concern is that it manifests in the area of its specialisation.
I once mentioned that those who eat in dreams, the food you see in the dream is not what the enemies actually used to perform the task.
Do you think they will spend money on Chicken and rice..a bag of rice is 35k now. 1 cup is 100
YOU MUST BE SPIRITUALLY ALERT...
Attacks can be resisted by regular fasting, vigils..
I once met a prophetess who told me to my face that I was using a small girdle under my mufty that it cannot save me.
How did she know?
And why did she even care?
If she didn't have a motive?
If you allow dark forces to finish you, if they repent tomorrow, hmmmm
Early in my journey, a man came to our church and said he wanted to do spiritual consultation(shona). After ishona. I was still young then. He was like.
"So you are the Prophet that Shona for that man the other day right? You must not Shona for him again"
You should know what followed.
These powers according to Ephesians are in the high places. They have the resources. You will see a tenant spend money on charm so landlord won't disturb him but won't use the money to pay rent.
These people do not care.
They have no compassion.
They can decide not to eat just for ones life to be destroyed.
So why can't you fast?
Your enemy can sacrifice their child just for your case so why can't you just sacrifice your food and time for God?
If I tell you there is any special material to prevent attack, it's a lie.
I mentioned earlier that Holy Water, Bible and Candle is all you need.
Maybe ocean water(omi okun)
When you are filled with the Holy Ghost and it's Power the enemies will fail at their works.
You may see them but may not be affected.
I wouldn't say there is a way to prevent attack because Jesus said in the world we would have tribulations.
They don't need a reason to attack you.
They can attack you just for the fun of it.
They can attack you just to prove a point.
They can even attack just to get your attention.
You cannot prevent it, you can also overcome it.
Even Christ had His battles on earth...
OVERCOMING WARFARE IS THE KEY.
There is no prevention.
If you don't talk they will attack you that you are forming and being proud so you don't talk to them.
If you talk to them, they will attack you that you did not greet them well before talking.
Whatever you do or say to man, man will have a reason to complain.
The Bible says the heart of man is desperately wicked.
Let me put an end to this quickly
Attacks are everywhere.
Where they come from doesn't always matter but overcoming them is important.
As a Prophet, forget who is responsible, concern yourself with overcoming and coming out stronger.
Stay filled with Holy Ghost and it's Power, and let the word of God never depart from your mouth with Prayer.
