Your phone is a tool that should help, not control you.

Learn to delay reading messages; wait for the right time.

Many can’t do this now, reacting immediately to notifications, which distracts from important tasks.
‎
Teach others: if urgent, call; if not, wait.
‎
Practice resisting the urge to check messages first, and prioritize your work.
‎
Self-control means choosing when to look at your phone.
‎
Constant checking fragments your focus, making it harder to listen and concentrate.
‎
Success comes from focusing on crucial work, not answering every notification.
‎
Developing this discipline is necessary because our generation grew up with smartphones.
‎
If you don’t control your attention, someone else will.
‎
Each time you resist distraction, you strengthen your self-discipline and prepare for greater responsibilities.
‎
Protect your focus, as a distracted mind cannot handle big responsibilities.

📖 *IS YOUR NAME WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF LIFE?* ✨

*One day,* all the riches of this world will lose their value. Fame will fade. Beauty will disappear. Positions, titles, achievements, and earthly treasures will all be left behind. The only thing that will truly matter is whether your name is written in the Book of Life.

The Bible reminds us that heaven is a real place prepared for those who love and obey God. It is a place where there will be no more tears, pain, sickness, fear, or death. It is the eternal home of those who have placed their faith in the Lord and remained faithful until the end.

Jesus said:

"Rejoice that your names are written in heaven." — Luke 10:20

This is the greatest blessing anyone can ever receive. More important than becoming successful on earth is becoming a citizen of heaven.

Today is God's invitation to every heart. Repent of your sins. Turn away from the things that separate you from Him. Walk in obedience to His Word. Live a life that honors Christ every day.

The Book of Life is not about living a perfect life—it is about surrendering your life to the One who can save you. Jesus Christ gave His life on the cross so that everyone who believes in Him may receive eternal life.

One day we will all stand before God. On that day, there will be no second chance, no excuses, and no appeals. The question will simply be:

"Is your name written in the Book of Life?"

Make that your highest priority today. Choose Jesus while there is still time. Follow Him faithfully. Share His Gospel with others. Live every day with eternity in mind.

"Whoever overcomes will be clothed in white garments, and I will never blot his name out of the Book of Life. I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels." — Revelation 3:5

Lord Jesus, thank You for Your amazing grace and the gift of salvation. Forgive my sins and cleanse my heart. Help me to walk faithfully with You every day. Write my name in Your Book of Life 🙏

Nigeria is bleeding slowly.

The poor cry for bread.
The rich build higher walls.
Kidnappers now negotiate human lives like market goods.
Fear sleeps in villages.
Hunger walks openly in cities.

Just like when researchers discovered male otters holding baby pups hostage underwater until food was delivered.
A shocking survival instinct.
Brutality hidden behind a harmless appearance.

Now look at humanity.
Men kidnap children for ransom.
Leaders trade citizens for power.
Truth is drowned while evil demands payment.

“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” — Matthew 24:12

We are watching hearts become harder.
Consciences dying publicly.
People surviving without mercy.

“They have healed the hurt of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.” — Jeremiah 6:14

This is beyond politics.
This is spiritual decay.

When a nation rejects truth, darkness becomes normal.

“Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” — Proverbs 14:34

Pray for Nigeria.
Repent.
Stay awake.

Dear God 🤍

I don’t know how to say this
without feeling exposed.

I am tired of myself.

Tired of the habits I keep returning to
even when I know where they lead.
Tired of choosing what breaks me
and then wondering why I feel broken.

There are patterns in my life
that feel stronger than my will.
Addictions I dress up as coping.
A lifestyle I know is not life
but I keep calling it freedom.

And now I am living with the consequences.
Not just around me
but inside me.

My mind feels crowded.
My heart feels divided.
My spirit feels distant.

I know You are calling me higher.
I know You are asking me
to let things go.
To release what I keep holding onto
like it is saving me
when it is slowly draining me.

But I am afraid.

Afraid of what life looks like without it.
Afraid of who I am without these habits.
Afraid of surrender
because it feels like losing control
even though I know
I am not really in control.

So I stay in the middle.
Convicted
but not changed.
Aware
but not surrendered.

And it is exhausting.

God, I feel broken.
Not in a poetic way
but in a real, messy, frustrating way.
The kind where I disappoint myself
over and over again.

I want to be free
but I do not always want to let go.
And I hate that about me.

I do not want to keep living like this.
Half in
half out.
Calling Your name
while clinging to things
that pull me away from You.

Help me.

Not just to feel bad
but to change.
Not just to see the problem
but to walk away from it.

Break what I cannot break on my own.
Strengthen what feels weak in me.
Give me the courage
to release what You are asking for
even when it hurts
even when it feels like loss.

Teach me that surrender
is not punishment
but rescue.

And when I fall again
because I might
do not let shame drive me further away.
Pull me back.
Again and again
until I learn how to stay.

I do not want to hide from You anymore.
Even like this
I come.

Broken
conflicted
tired
but still reaching.

If You are willing
start with me.
