Alhamdulillah for the success of our just-concluded Usrah session, held under the banner of ACMC LASU. The session, themed:
"Choosing a Life Partner: Between Islamic Standards and Campus Expectations"
and delivered by our esteemed lecturer, Ustadh Bashir Bamiro, was not only enlightening but deeply relatable.
The discussion explored the delicate balance between what Islam prescribes in choosing a spouse focusing on piety, character, and compatibility versus the often conflicting social pressures and expectations found in campus life.
Ustadh Bashir highlighted key Islamic principles for selecting a life partner, while also addressing the emotional and societal challenges students face in real-time. He emphasized that true success in marriage starts with sincerity, clear intention, and aligning choices with Allah’s guidance — not fleeting campus fantasies.
The session ended with practical advice and open Q&A, leaving many attendees better informed and spiritually guided.
