SHOULD EVERYONE PRAY IN TONGUES?
From the lines, truth will gaze at you to know whether you can recognize it. What you don’t know can be used to control you. Nobody can manipulate you after today! I was once like you. If there is a spirit that causes people to speak in tongues you will see them in this piece.
In bible days, the Prophet Daniel saw a finger writing on the wall in such a graphic way that the handwriting looked like where someone wrote in Chinese alphabets. And it read MENE MENE TEKEL UPHARSIN; the Prophet Daniel was able to interpret it, but the interpretation was fearful. It was a message of doom for the King of his days: the mighty king Nebuchadnezzar. The name Nebuchadnezzar means groans of judgement; ‘’wait that is not where I am going, what I meant is that the mighty king Nebuchadnezzar of the Babylonian empire who had an onslaught against humankind was judged by God.’’ His name manifested on him. He was struck by the judgement of the King of kings. The handwriting that Daniel saw on the wall was not found in the language of men in all civilization throughout the whole earth. (See Daniel 5:25).
Jump into the band wagon let me take you back to the Garden of Eden. How I wish man was still in the Garden up till today, life would have been very interesting. We all would have been living in cool gardens like those in the rainforest of the Amazon. It would have been very peaceful; with humming birds flying everywhere and butterflies making clicking sounds of melodies! But we may have still been naked like our first parents Adam and Eve. They were naked but they were not ashamed not until the Devil came and spoke to them curled like a serpent on a fig tree. (See Genesis 3:1-3).
Do you know that in the Garden of Eden man was able to speak to animals? Not just the serpent, but all animals. That was hilarious! We had the ability to talk to our pets, and they talked back to us. But when man fell, he lost this ability and became alienated to the animal kingdom. Let me tickle your fancy with this revelation, do you know that man was also able to speak to inanimate objects? Yes! We were. All those gifts died in us when man sinned and God cursed the Earth for Adam’s sake. To prove to us that animals spoke to us in language we could understand, let's see what happened in the days of Balaam, a mule spoke to its rider. God restored the mule’s speech for fifteen minutes! (See Numbers 22:21-39).
All created reality has their own type of language. Angels have their language; animals have their language; and in higher dimensions even inanimate objects can talk: everything created has a way of passing information to other things. Scriptures reveal that all sounds have meaning. (See 1Corinthians 14:10). Moreso, every kingdom has a way they communicate with each other. The language used in the different worlds of God are not the same. Language is just a means of passing information. A witch was delivered in our church some years back; and during her confession she said that, when they go to bed in the evening, rats usually come to their houses to alert them of time for meeting; and they can communicate with the rats. She also said, sometimes it is not the rats that come, but birds come to them to pass messages to them or to alert them of something and when the birds chirp that they understand what the birds are saying, and they can talk back to the birds.
The meow meow that cats make; the moo moo that cows make; and the woof woof that dogs make all have meaning. It all became meaningless to us when man fell from being spiritual to bring to a carnal being. We lost a lot as a result of the sin of Adam. Adam and Eve did not just get cursed by God; they also lost their spiritual abilities. (See Genesis 3:1-19, and Romans 8:20-22).
In our kingdom, the kingdom of light, we have our own language which we can use to communicate with our Father. The language is called speaking in tongues of fire. It is recorded in scriptures that no angel or demon or animal can understand us when we speak in this language but God alone—Father to child! (See 1Corinthians 14:2). To the contrary, the gift that the disciples of Jesus manifested on the day of Pentecost was not the gift of tongues of fire, but the gift of understanding and speaking the language of men. The apostles mostly spoke Hebrew and Aramaic before the spirit came upon them. But when the spirit came, they could speak other languages such as Greek, Syriac, and other languages to as many people they met: in their different mother tongues they communicated with them. This one is not speaking in tongues but the gift of language. (See Acts 2:4-28). The Holy Spirit gives three types of spiritual gifts in language: the gift of speaking in tongues of fire, the gift of interpretation of tongues, and the gift of language. When you speak in tongues of fire you communicate to God, and no man can hear you. But there are people who have the gift of interpretation of tongues. (See 1Corinthians 14:14-15).
You cannot train a person to speak in tongues. It is a gift that comes by the power of the Holy Spirit. There are Christian churches who claim they can train people to speak in tongues that is totally wrong. This gift comes to those who have been baptized in the Holy Ghost. If you are born again and baptized and you begin to live the Godly life. After some time, God will baptize you with His spirit, that is what we call the baptism of the Holy Spirit. (See Matthew 3:11).
In the Kingdom of darkness, they also have their own type of speaking in tongues and they deceive people with it. Brethren, please note, the Devil and the kingdom of darkness have a counterfeit of everything we have in the kingdom of light. The Devil is a copycat. Everything he does are things he copied from the kingdom of God. The name of the spirit that causes people to speak in unknown tongues in Satan’s kingdom is called Cyrile; and the spirit that causes people to prophesy in the marine kingdom is called Cybele. These demons are spirits that camouflage as angels of light to make people have false speaking in tongues, and give false prophecies. (See 2Corinthians 11:14, and Acts 13:8).
Before you can return to the state of the spiritual man, you have to go through three types of baptism, the baptism of water by immersion; the baptism of fire; and the baptism of the Holy Ghost. You must be born-again and live the Godly life before you can have spiritual rebirth and transformation. The Lord administers grace for spiritual gifts to us through His Most Holy Spirit. If you need any spiritual gift, ask God in the name of Jesus Christ through the power of His Holy Spirit and it shall be given.
