*EFFECT OF HOLY COMMUNION IN THE LIFE OF A BELIEVER*
_1 Corinthians 11:23-30 | John 6:53-58_

*1. WHAT IS HOLY COMMUNION?*
_1 Cor 11:24-25 – “This do in remembrance of me.”_
*Note:* It’s not a ritual. It’s a _covenant meal_. The bread = His body broken for you. The cup = His blood for the new covenant. _Luke 22:19-20_

*One-liner:* _“Communion is not you remembering Jesus. It’s Jesus remembering His covenant over you.”_

*2. 7 EFFECTS OF HOLY COMMUNION IN YOUR LIFE*

*1. DIVINE HEALTH & HEALING*
_1 Cor 11:30 – “For this cause many are weak and sickly among you...”_
*Meaning:* Taking it _worthily_ releases healing. By His stripes you were healed. _Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24_ The bread is medicine.
*Illustration:* _The children of Israel ate lamb before Exodus and none was feeble._ _Psalm 105:37_ Communion is your Passover.

*2. DELIVERANCE FROM SIN & ADDICTION*
_Matthew 26:28 – “For this is my blood... which is shed for many for the remission of sins”_
*Meaning:* The blood breaks legal grounds for sin. _Rev 12:11 – “They overcame him by the blood”_ Addictions bow to the blood.

*3. RENEWAL OF COVENANT & INTIMACY*
_1 Cor 10:16 – “The cup... is it not the communion of the blood of Christ?”_
*Meaning:* _Communion = common-union._ You’re reconnecting to Christ. Every table renews vows. _John 6:56 – “He that eateth my flesh... dwelleth in me, and I in him.”_

*4. PROTECTION FROM WATCHERS & DESTROYERS*
_Exodus 12:13 – “...when I see the blood, I will pass over you”_
*Meaning:* The blood on the lintel stopped death. The blood in you stops satanic watchers. _Col 3:3 – “Your life is hid”_ They see blood, not you.

*5. STRENGTH FOR THE JOURNEY*
_John 6:57 – “...he that eateth me, even he shall live by me”_
*Meaning:* Communion is _spiritual food_. Elijah ate once and went 40 days. _1 Kings 19:8_ When you’re weak, tired, or in a battle — take communion. Grace is in it.

*6. VICTORY OVER DEATH & PREMATURE END*
_John 6:54 – “Whoso eateth my flesh... hath eternal life”_
*Meaning:* It’s a longevity seal. _Psalm 118:17 – “I shall not die, but live”_ Taking it rightly stops _“sleep”_ — untimely death. _1 Cor 11:30_

*7. UNITY IN THE BODY OF CHRIST*
_1 Cor 10:17 – “For we being many are one bread, and one body”_
*Meaning:* You can’t take communion and keep malice. It breaks division. _Watchers use strife._ Communion brings _one bread, one body_. For the Reigners and team of Light — it keeps the body of CHRIST bonded in love.

*3. HOW TO TAKE IT WORTHILY* _1 Cor 11:27-29_
1. *Examine yourself* – Repent of known sin. _v28_
2. *Discern the Lord’s body* – Know it’s not ordinary bread. _v29_ There’s power in it.
3. *Do it in faith* – Not as ritual, but expecting results. _Heb 11:6_

*Warning:* _v30 – “For this cause many are weak and sickly... and many sleep.”_ Taking it casually brings weakness. Taking it in faith brings life.

*4. WHEN TO TAKE COMMUNION*
1. *During challenges* – Paul took it in the shipwreck. _Acts 27:35_ Strength came.
2. *When sick* – The bread is for healing. _Isaiah 53:5_
3. *Before major assignments* – Jesus took it before the cross. _Luke 22:19_
4. *Monthly with your team/church* – _1 Cor 11:26 – “as often as ye eat”_ Keeps the covenant fresh.

*ONE-LINERS FOR ALTAR CALL*
1. _“The table of the Lord is stronger than the table of your enemies.”_ _Psalm 23:5_
2. _“You can’t be eating His body and be broken down by life.”_
3. _“Communion is your monthly blood transfusion — weakness leaves.”_

*Declaration:*
