Today's Bible Verse.
But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Roman 8:11
Exhortation.
Even as the Holy Spirit raises up the body of Jesus from the grave, so will He raise up the bodies of all believers who have died. God will not leave the work of redemption incomplete, but will raise up and change even our bodies. He will give us a new body fit for life in his everlasting Kingdom.
Prayer.
Lord God, we look forward to the day when we will live with You forever in a new heaven and new earth in a glorified body. We cannot imagine much what that future existence will be like, but we know it will be far better than our present state. The Spirit who raised up Christ will raise us up also and give us a body like unto his glorious resurrection body. We await that day with joy.
