Millions Gather as RCCG Concludes 74th Annual Convention - 94 Babies Delivered

RCCG’s 74th Annual Convention Draws Millions, Delivers 94 Babies, and Ordains 19,500 Ministers

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), now present in 198 countries, has concluded its 74th Annual Convention themed Mountain Movers - a week of worship, teaching and humanitarian impact that drew hundreds of thousands to Redemption City, Mowe, Ogun State.

General Overseer Pastor Enoch Adeboye led the seven‑day gathering, which featured major milestones:

•⁠ ⁠19,500 new ministers ordained
•⁠ ⁠94 babies delivered with free medical care
•⁠ ⁠Over 78,000 children and teenagers engaged in dedicated programmes
•⁠ ⁠Thousands served through medical, diagnostic and feeding interventions

The Convention also marked 30 years of Africa Missions, founded by Pastor Folu Adeboye, now a major faith‑based development organisation across Africa.

In the mighty name of Jesus, everything not of God in our families, churches, towns, cities, and nations will be dealt with.

In the name of Jesus, where there has been no way, there shall be a way.

Father, in the mighty Name of Jesus, tonight, where there was no way before in my life, let there be a way.

Tonight, every wall of Jericho will fall!

In the Name of Jesus, every organisation made by man to stop me from getting to my promised land, should not see the end of this month.

Father, anyone who does not want me to reach my goal, remove them now.

As my God lives, because we'll pray here tonight, the weapon that will destroy the untouchable is already in the hand of untouchable.

All the resources of your enemy are going to dry up now.

Father, anyone who does not want me to reach my goal, remove them now.

Anyone no matter how big, who is terrorising us will kill themselves.

Topic: From Grass to Grace
Text: Daniel 4: 28-37

There are all kinds of mountains.

When you have a mountain and you don't even know you have it, it can become the most dangerous of mountains.

Grass refers to the bottom - the lowest level.
Glory refers to the top - it is the highest level.

God can take a person from the dunghill (grass) and place them among kings (grace). 1 Samuel 2:7-9

• When a king becomes a mad man, he falls from glory to grass.

+ When God created Adam and Eve, they were clothed in God's glory. Genesis 2
Then they fell and became aware of their nakedness.

• The king left the palace and began to keep company with animals.

There is a group known as the congregation of the dead - those who have deviated from the way of the Lord. Proverbs 21:16

The journey from grace to grass always starts with pride. Proverbs 11:2
Pride goes before destruction. Proverbs 16:18

It manifests in various ways:
▪︎ Some say there is no God.
The fool says there is no God. Psalm 14:1, Proverbs 3:35

Some of us don't say God is dead with our mouths but we say it with our actions. Job 19:25
That's why we believe He doesn't see or hear what we say. Psalm 94:9

If we know that He sees our actions and hears our conversations, how many jokes would we share, knowing that every word we speak is recorded?

▪︎ Some of us say God was alive once upon a time, but now dead.

▪︎ Some of us think that although God is alive, He should mind His business while we mind ours. Daniel 3:1-15
We think that there are certain things we can do without the help of God.
But without Him, we can do nothing. John 15:5

The journey from grass to grace begins from getting rid of pride.

Usually, the mountain of pride is moved when you find yourself in a crisis beyond your ability to handle.

You must humble yourself under the mighty arm of God and He will exalt you. 1 Peter 5:6

You must submit yourself to God before you can resist the devil. James 4:6-7

Don't wait for a crisis before you surrender to Jesus.
Don't wait for a crisis before you say goodbye to pride.

During this convention,
Mountains will be moved
Incredible things are going to happen.

But won't it be a shame if you've been around since the Welcome Service and hear testimonies from Wednesday and at the end of it, you have nothing to show for it? You begin to question if God lied.

Proud people never believe that they are proud.
You need to get rid of the mountain of pride before we begin to get rid of other mountains, so that it doesn't stand in the way.

If you haven't given your life to Jesus or would like to rededicate your life, ask the Lord to have mercy on you, forgive your sins, wash you clean with His blood, and save your soul.

August 2026 Thanksgiving Service

Life is war.
From the day a child is born, the war begins.
Life is so full of trouble, even a new baby begins life crying.
Life is a continuous wrestling match. Ephesians 6:12

Who is a champion?
From the boxing perspective, the champion is the one who remains standing after the bout is over, with his hands raised in victory.

In boxing, to be a champion, you need:
1. Strength
2. Wisdom
3. A very good coach

1. Strength
Many times, you discover your strength isn't enough. You can't tell how strong a person is, by looking at them.
If you will be a real champion, you need Jesus to give you strength in the day of trouble. 1 Samuel 2:9
Even if you have some strength, you can grow weary. But the Lord gives strength to the weary.
Isaiah 40:29-31

2. In the battle of life, you need wisdom.
No matter how strong you are, if you don't have wisdom, you will lose.
When heading into the battle of life, have God by your side - He gives wisdom to the wise. Daniel 2:22

3. A good coach will guide you.
• They won't allow you to be careless.
• A good coach is not necessarily your friend. A friend likes you for you, but a good coach is never satisfied with the way you are.
• A good coach will inspire you and keep directing you on what to do.
The best coach you can ever have is Jesus. John 16:24
• It takes a good coach to let you know that immediately after a victory, your enemy goes to war.
• A good coach sees the blow coming and warns you before it hits you.
• Your coach is the one who teaches you not to take no for an answer.
Keep on asking until your joy is full. Proverbs 24:16

You can not claim to be a real champion until you finish on earth.
You need the Coach to keep on inspiring you, to let you know that the battle isn't over until you finish on earth.

To be a divine champion:
You need strength - lasting strength that only God can give.
You need wisdom - only God can give you wisdom; He knows all the parameters.
You need a good Coach - you need Jesus.

Salvation Call
If you haven't given your life to Jesus or dedicate your life, ask the Lord to have mercy on you, forgive your sins, wash you clean with His blood, and save your soul.

Prayer Point
▪︎ Father, I come to You in total humility today;
Please be my strength.
Please be my wisdom.
Please be my Coach.
Don't let me be an ex-champion.
