Happy and Glorious Birthday to my dear friend, brother, and fellow-labourer, Rev. Samuel Temitope Akande!
Today, I rejoice with you and thank our gracious Lord for the gift of your life and for the privilege of knowing, loving, and serving alongside you.
Our friendship, fellowship, and partnership in the work of the Lord, which began in 1996—thirty years ago, is truly unique and precious to me. Through the years, God has graciously allowed our paths to remain intertwined in His service, and I am deeply grateful for the brotherhood, trust, love, and partnership we share. What began as a friendship has, by God’s grace, become a lasting partnership in ministry and a testimony of His faithfulness.
I sincerely appreciate your faithfulness to our Lord Jesus Christ, your devotion to your family, and your steadfast commitment to our ministries and the work God has entrusted to us. Your life, sacrifice, counsel, prayers, and fellowship have been a tremendous blessing and encouragement to me. I do not take your friendship and partnership for granted.
On this special day, my prayer is that the Lord will continue to strengthen you spiritually, physically, emotionally, and in every area of your life. May He enlarge your coast, renew your strength, order your steps, and prosper the work of your hands. May He grant you the righteous desires of your heart according to His perfect will, and may He fulfill His purposes for your life and ministry.
May the Lord richly bless your home and family, preserve you in good health, surround you with His favour, and give you many more fruitful, joyful, and impactful years of life and service. May your latter years be greater than the former, and may your influence for Christ continue to grow from generation to generation.
