Faith Baptist Church commiserates with families and churches affected in our region by the painful loss of Doctor Sunday Oladeji, who touched many lives sacrificially, and by the tragic killing of teachers during the recent bandits’ attack.

We also continue to pray for the teachers and children still in captivity.

This has been a sober and heartbreaking time in our region. May the Lord comfort the bereaved families, strengthen their churches and loved ones, and grant the safe and speedy release of those still held captive.

May God show mercy and grant peace in these difficult days.

Happy 30th Birthday Celebration to Pastor Kingsley Sobalaje our Bible College student, a man who passionately loves Jesus, is dedicated to the truth of God’s Word, a sacrificial soul-winner, a hardworking young man, and one of our media personnel.

As a trained Architect, you believed God had called you into His work, and immediately after completing your training, you returned to follow the will of God for your life. That decision speaks of conviction, sacrifice, and a heart yielded to the Lord.

Today as you celebrate three decades of God’s faithfulness, we thank God for your life, your service, and your burden for the work of God.

Our prayer is that the Lord will continue to shower His blessings upon you, strengthen you for His service, and use you greatly for His glory.

Keep shining for Jesus.

Today, May 10, 2026, we give thanks to God for a blessed Mother’s Day Celebration at Faith Baptist Church.

It was a joyful time of worship, appreciation, and reflection on the strength and honour of godly mothers. We thank the Lord for the women He has placed in our homes and in our church family. Their quiet sacrifices, steady faith, and faithful service continue to shape generations.

To every mother, we say thank you. May the Lord reward your devotion, strengthen your hands, and cause you to rejoice in the fruit of your labour.

We bless the Lord for the burden for souls He has placed in the hearts of our church members over the years.

Every Saturday, we go into different areas, using different methods, yet preaching the same Gospel.

We thank God for souls saved week after week.
