The Efficacy of Prayer
James 5:16b
A number of times, we tend to think that when we have prayed about something, we should see the result immediately. However, there is being insistent and consistent in prayer.
Faith is being insistent on God's word in the place of prayer. The believer must learn to pray insistently. We must assume the position of praying until something happens.
Adura olododo ma n se ise Agbara. The efficacy of prayer is to whom you are communicating. The prayer of the believer can restore, uproot, make new, destroy, create, and dematerialize things. It's not an ordinary time.
So, as a believer who knows this, you must learn to insist in the place of prayer. The prayer of the believer is a force that you cannot sideline.
Our default response on this earth ought to be prayer, praying on the go, and having specific times of prayer. Let prayer always be on your lips. It must become our culture, our life.
Elijah demonstrated prayer to us. He prayed 'until' the result manifested, knowing that the One to whom he prays hears him.
At times, we have to keep praying so that certain limitations can be removed. When you need to pray about a certain thing, look for a place in the written Word that approves it. For example, healing. Insist that the written Word aligns with your reality.
You don't always have to feel like praying; you just have to pray and ensure to keep praying. Don't be too logical and calculative with your life. Pray, pray over your life, ministry, disciples, family, decisions, pray over everything!
Beloved, have you been blessed after reading this?
