Happy Mother’s Day
Today, with hearts full of gratitude and joy, we celebrate all the Good Women of the Christ Apostolic Church Oke Agbara Oluwatedo District, Ogbomoso on this glorious Mother’s Day celebration themed “My Mother, My Model.” This special occasion reminds us of the priceless value, godly influence, and sacrificial love of mothers in the family, the church, and society at large.
A mother is not just one who gives birth, but one who nurtures, guides, prays, encourages, and builds lives with wisdom and love. The Bible says in Proverbs 31:28, “Her children arise up, and call her blessed.” Indeed, we rise today to call you blessed for your dedication, prayers, patience, and unwavering commitment to your homes and to the work of God.
You are shining examples of virtue, humility, strength, and faithfulness. Like Hannah, you are women of prayer and sacrifice. Like Esther, you are women of courage and divine purpose. Like Lois and Eunice, you are women who uphold godly values and pass down the heritage of faith to the next generation. Through your lives, many have been nurtured spiritually, morally, and emotionally. Truly, you are models worthy of honor and emulation.
Your labor in the vineyard of God, your support for the church, and your commitment to raising godly children have not gone unnoticed before God. The impact of a praying and faithful mother can never be measured, because generations are shaped through the wisdom, discipline, and love that flow from her life.
As we celebrate you today, we pray that the Almighty God will continue to strengthen you, preserve your homes, and crown your efforts with joy and peace. May He reward your sacrifices, answer your secret prayers, and grant you long life, good health, and divine fulfillment. May your children rise to bring honor to your name, and may your lives continually shine as examples of godliness and virtue.
