Living in Christ’s Authority

Bible Text:
“The LORD said to my Lord, ‘Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies Your footstool.’” — Psalm 110:1

Psalm 110 reveals that Jesus Christ, the Messiah, is seated at the right hand of God. This position represents honor, power, and supreme authority. Jesus confirmed this truth during His trial (Mark 14:62). Being seated at God’s right hand means that Christ rules over every enemy.

The Bible also teaches that believers are seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). This shows that Christians are not weak or defeated. Through Christ, we share in His authority over sin, Satan, and every work of darkness. When believers understand their position in Christ, they can stand firm and enforce Christ’s victory in their lives and environment.

Believers are called to live as overcomers, not as victims, by exercising the authority Christ has given them.

Prayer Point:
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, help me to live in the authority I have in Christ. I reject fear and defeat, and I declare Christ’s rule over my life, family, and all that concerns me. Amen.

Embracing Jesus Christ Today. The Bible asserts that all individuals have sinned (Romans 3:23) and the consequence of sin is death (Romans 6:23). However, God demonstrated His love by having Christ die on our behalf (Romans 5:8). It is imperative to acknowledge that self-salvation is impossible—salvation can only be attained through Jesus (John 14:6; Ephesians 2:8–9). Since tomorrow is not guaranteed, it is crucial not to delay (Proverbs 27:1). Today is indeed the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). Upon receiving Him, you will become a child of God (John 1:12). We invite you to open your heart to Jesus now.

*Jesus Is Alive*
Mark 16:6
When the women came to Jesus' tomb, they were expecting to find His body, but instead, they met an angel who told them not to be afraid. He said, “You’re looking for Jesus who was crucified, but He’s not here—He has risen!”

This simple message changes everything. Jesus didn’t stay in the grave—He defeated death! That means we don’t have to live in fear anymore. His resurrection gives us hope, power, and the assurance that we have victory in Him.

Just like the women were told to go and share the good news, we also have the responsibility to tell others: Jesus is alive! Let this truth give you boldness and joy every day.
Note:
Because Jesus rose from the dead, we have hope, victory, and a message to share.
You are blessed in Jesus Christ name. Amen
