Welcome to April, Our Month of Awakening!
Happy New Month brothers and sisters,
I believe strongly in my spirit that this month is not an ordinary month for us as a church.
This is a month of awakening. This is a month of movement. This is a month where we will not just survive—we will thrive.
Romans 13:11: “Now it is high time to awake out of sleep…”, sleep here may not be physical but attitudinal and the Lord commanded us in Isaiah 60:1 - “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.”
This is not a suggestion—this is a call.
Wake up. Arise. Step into what God has prepared.
Yes, we may have gone through a season that looked limited but hear this clearly:
Where we are is not where we are going.
This season has not been a setback—it has been a setup. God has been building us; strengthening us; preparing us…
For what is coming next.
John 10:10 says:
“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
God did not call us to struggle endlessly.
He called us to grow, to expand and to flourish and this month, we are stepping into that reality in Jesus mighty name
Wake Up (Call to Responsibility)
Ephesians 5:14 says:
“Awake thou that sleepest, and arise and Christ shall give thee light.” This means we cannot remain passive. We cannot remain casual. We cannot remain where we used to be.
This is a new season that requires:
Attention
Commitment
Action
Thrive
“The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree…” Psalms 92:2 and we will flourish, we will grow and we will expand powerfully, not by struggle—but by alignment with God’s purpose which he has constantly demonstrated to us
As a church, we are entering a new phase.
We are trusting God—and actively preparing—to move into a better and more conducive place of worship and fellowship.
A place where:
More people can come
Lives can be changed
We can grow without limitation
And hear this: This is not just a leadership vision - this is our vision.
We are building this together. This month requires everyone. Your presence matters. Your commitment matters. Your contribution matters. We are not spectators—we are builders with excellence and exceptional in all things!
What looks small today will not remain small.
What we are building now will speak tomorrow. Zechariah 4:10:
“Do not despise the day of small beginnings…”
Prophetic Declaration:
I declare over this church:
This month, we wake up. This month, we rise. This month, we move forward.
No more delay. No more stagnation. No more limitation.
We step into growth.
We step into expansion.
We step into thriving.
Say this with me:
“I will not remain where I was. I wake up, and I will thrive.” (say this 3 times until it gets into your spirit)
This is our month.
We wake up… and we thrive with excellent spirit and exceptional mindsets!
