SHARING THE LAMB
Exodus 12:3-4
Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house: And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.
From the above Scripture, God told the children of Israel to be united in the blood. For every household that is too small for them to eat the lamb, they should share it with their neighbor.
Ephesians 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Today, the devil is trying that we don't unite. He is doing all possible best that Christians shouldn't come together in unity. There is power in unity of the blood. You must find someone that you will unite together in the blood (Isa 34:16).
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
There is a lesson that i want us to learn from 2 Kings 4:1-7. In 2 Kings 4:1-7, there was a Woman, the Wife of the Late Prophet, which her husband left debt for her and her two sons. She ran to Prophet Elisha because the creditor wanted to take away her sons. The Prophet ask her, "what did she have at home". She replied, a jar of oil and the Prophet told her to borrow as many vessels as she can. When there was no more vessel, the oil stopped.
We can see before the woman collected the vessels from her neighbors, she gave them something. She shared something with them. She was united with them. She shared the word of God with them, and they gave their vessels, which is their heart.
The more you share Jesus, and the more heart you receive or catch for God, the more your oil keeps increasing. The oil stopped the moment there was no more vessel, which means the moment the wife of the late Prophet stopped sharing something with his neighbour, there was no more vessel.
The lad that gave 5 loaves of bread and 2 small fishes share what he had (John 6:9), and he went home with 12 basket full (John 6:13). If he had withheld his bread and fish, and he ate it. He would have go home with nothing
Today, we are not sharing the lamb of God with our neighbors, the meat is too much us alone to eat. Our neighbors are the one who can't afford the lamb of God because they are not partakers of the lamb of God. We need to share the lamb with them, so that they to can be partakers of the blood.
We have neighbours, friends, family members, relatives who have are not yet saved, yet we have not shared JESUS with them. The bible says, we that are saved, we should rise up for the Salvation of others.
Romans 10:14
How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
We have friends you are Unbelievers, and we have not for once tell them that Jesus loves them. We are comfortable with them been not saved, we are comfortable with them been not delivered from the power of sin.
If you are reading this, and you have friends, people around you that are not saved, yet you haven't tell them about Jesus, if they are born again later, and it's not through you; that means you are bastard child of God
This season, and every other thing, don't send unnecessary Messages, share Jesus, the lamb with your neighbors that can't afford buy the lamb, so that they too will join the Congregation of the first born, and been a partaker of the blood of the lamb.
I have shared the lamb of God with you, also do so by sharing the lamb of God to people especially people around you.
This is a message to rekindle the fire of soul winning and evangelism in our hearts.
