BEWARE OF DOG IN THE CHURCH

Philippians 3:2 — “Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.”

When Paul said “beware of dogs,” he was not talking about physical animals. He was talking about dangerous human behaviours and destructive characters hiding inside the church.

1. Who Are the “Dogs” in the Church?

a. Those Who Bite With Their Words

People whose tongues tear down instead of building up.

They gossip, slander, and destroy the image of others.

b. Those Who Attack the Shepherd

Members who fight spiritual authority.

They rebel, criticize, and weaken the work of God.

c. False Teachers

They distort the gospel for personal gain.

They mislead the weak and confuse the innocent.

d. Those With Divisive Spirit

They set one group against another.

Always creating confusion in the church.

e. Immoral Influences

People whose lifestyle corrupts others.

They lead youths into sin and pull brethren away from holiness.

2. Why Must the Church Beware?

Dogs destroy unity.

Dogs pollute holiness.

Dogs cause spiritual injuries.

Dogs endanger the flock.

3. Signs That a “Dog” Is Operating in a Church

Constant quarrels and backbiting

People leaving the church because of attacks

Ministers discouraged

Youths derailed

Gossip spreading faster than the gospel

No growth, only confusion

4. How Should the Church Respond?

a. Be Watchful

Do not be spiritually careless.
Be sensitive to spiritual danger.

b. Stand for Truth

Expose lies with the Word of God.

c. Guard Your Heart

Do not allow negative voices to poison you.

d. Support Your Leaders

Protect the shepherd from wolves.

e. Pray for Deliverance

Some “dogs” can be transformed by the power of God.

5. Final Warning

A church that fails to watch will become a feeding ground for spiritual dogs.
But a church that stands firm in holiness, unity, and prayer will defeat every attack.

THE DANGERS OF THE END TIME

The end time refers to the period the Bible describes as the last days before the return of Jesus Christ. The Scriptures warn that this season will be filled with spiritual, moral, and societal dangers. God reveals these things so that believers can be watchful, prayerful, and firmly rooted in the truth.

1. Increase of Deception

Bible Reference: Matthew 24:4–5
Jesus said, “Take heed that no man deceive you.”

False prophets and false teachers will rise.

Many will come in Christ’s name but preach another gospel.

People will follow miracles instead of truth.

Danger: Believers may be carried away by sweet words, fake visions, and deceptive doctrines.

2. Coldness of Love

Bible Reference: Matthew 24:12
“Because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”

Love for God will reduce.

Love for one another will become shallow.

Churches will experience hatred, division, and strife.

Danger: Bitterness and unforgiveness will open the door for Satan to operate freely among believers.

3. Rise of Immorality and Wickedness

Bible Reference: 2 Timothy 3:1–5
Paul describes the last days as “perilous times.”
People will be:

Lovers of themselves

Lovers of money

Proud

Disobedient

Unholy

Without natural affection

Lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God

Danger: Sin becomes normal, holiness becomes strange, and righteousness becomes mocked.

4. Spiritual Weakness and Backsliding

Bible Reference: 1 Timothy 4:1
“In the latter times some shall depart from the faith…”

Many will abandon biblical truth.

People will seek pastors who preach what they want to hear, not what they need to hear.

Danger: A generation of believers who claim to know God but deny His power.

5. The Antichrist Influence

Bible Reference: 1 John 2:18
“…even now are there many antichrists.”

Systems, governments, and cultures will oppose God.

The world will prepare the stage for the final Antichrist.

Evil will be celebrated publicly.

Danger: Believers may be pressured to compromise or conform to the world’s ways.

6. False Peace and Fake Revival

Bible Reference: 2 Thessalonians 2:9–10
The enemy will produce lying wonders to deceive the world.

People will believe signs without checking the source.

Churches may focus on entertainment instead of spiritual growth.

Danger: Losing discernment and mistaking emotional excitement for the presence of God.

7. Persecution of True Believers

Bible Reference: Matthew 24:9
“Ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.”

Standing for truth becomes costly.

True ministers may be attacked or misunderstood.

Darkness will fight light.

Danger: Some may fear persecution and abandon their faith.

HOW SHOULD BELIEVERS RESPOND?

1. Be Watchful and Prayerful

Luke 21:36 — “Watch and pray…”

2. Hold Firm to Sound Doctrine

2 Timothy 4:3–4

3. Live a Holy and Disciplined Life

Hebrews 12:14 — “Without holiness no man shall see the Lord.”

4. Stay Connected to a Bible-believing Church

Do not forsake the fellowship of believers.

5. Share the Gospel Boldly

Rescue others from deception and darkness.

Conclusion

The end time is not a season to fear but a time to be alert. God has equipped His children with the Word, the Spirit, and the truth to stand firm. Those who remain faithful will receive the crown of life.

SICKNESS IN THE CHURCH — A BIBLICAL TEACHING

Sickness appearing in the church today is a serious issue that must be viewed spiritually, physically, and scripturally. The church is the body of Christ, and anything that attacks the body must be examined carefully.

1. SOURCES OF SICKNESS IN THE CHURCH

A. NATURAL / PHYSICAL CAUSES

Some sicknesses are simply part of human life:

Stress and lack of rest

Poor diet and lifestyle

Environmental conditions

Aging

Lack of medical care

Even the Bible acknowledges physical weakness:
“Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick.” – 2 Timothy 4:20

Paul did not blame demons; it was a natural illness.

B. SPIRITUAL CAUSES

Some sicknesses have spiritual roots because the church is not just physical.

1. Sin and Disobedience

Persistent sin can open the door to affliction.

James 5:15–16 – Confess your faults… that you may be healed.

Hidden sin, bitterness, unforgiveness, and rebellion can block healing.

2. Attack of the Enemy

The devil targets believers to weaken faith.

Luke 13:11–13 – A woman was sick for 18 years because of a spirit of infirmity.

Satan uses sickness to discourage, distract, and destroy faith.

3. Wrong Doctrine and Lack of Discernment

In some churches:

People lack understanding of spiritual warfare

Wrong teaching kills faith

There is no emphasis on prayer and holiness

This creates a spiritual atmosphere where sickness thrives.

4. Breaking Spiritual Covering

When believers step out of God’s protection through:

Pride

Disunity

Rebellion against spiritual authority

Gossip and division

Sickness can enter the church body.

C. DISCIPLINE FROM GOD

Some sicknesses are God’s correction, not punishment.

1 Corinthians 11:29–30 – Some were weak, sick, and dying because they dishonored the Lord’s Table.

God sometimes allows sickness to:

Humble a believer

Correct behavior

Restore spiritual order

2. WHY DOES GOD ALLOW SICKNESS IN THE CHURCH?

1. To draw people closer to Him

Sickness can lead to repentance and revival.

2. To display His healing power

Every healing in the church reveals the glory of Jesus.

3. To test faith and patience

Job was sick, yet his faith stood strong.

4. To show the difference between true and false believers

Some run away in sickness; true disciples stand firm.

3. HOW SHOULD THE CHURCH RESPOND TO SICKNESS?

1. Prayer of faith

James 5:14–15 – Call the elders, anoint with oil.

2. Unity and love

A loving church environment brings healing.

3. Confession and repentance

Open hearts bring open healing.

4. Discernment and spiritual warfare

The church must know when sickness is:

Natural

Demonic

Disciplinary

Faith-testing

5. Balance between prayer and medical care

Faith is not foolishness; prayer and medicine can work together.

4. BIBLICAL EXAMPLES OF SICKNESS IN GOD’S PEOPLE

Job – Satanic attack

Hezekiah – Near death, but healed by God

Paul – Thorn in the flesh for humility

Timothy – Stomach sickness

Church in Corinth – Sickness from spiritual disorder

CONCLUSION
Sickness in the church is real, but it is not always a sign of sin. It can be:

A natural condition

A spiritual attack

A divine discipline

A faith test

The church must operate with discernment, prayer, love, and holiness.

WHO IS THE ANTICHRIST?

Antichrist simply means “one who is against Christ” or “one who replaces Christ.”
The Bible talks about the Antichrist in two major ways:

1. The Spirit of Antichrist (Already in the World) — 1 John 4:3

The Bible says:

> “The spirit of antichrist… is already in the world.”

This means:

Any power, influence, or teaching that denies Jesus,

Any system that opposes the truth of God,

Any behaviour or lifestyle that makes people turn away from Christ,
…is under the spirit of the antichrist.

This spirit works through:

False prophets

False doctrines

Worldly systems

Sinful temptations

Pride and rebellion

2. The Antichrist as a Person (End-Time World Leader)

The Bible also describes a man who will appear in the end times.

He is called:

“The man of sin” (2 Thessalonians 2:3)

“The son of perdition”

“The beast” (Revelation 13)
His Characteristics

This man will:

Be very powerful and charismatic

Rule a global political system

Perform signs and wonders to deceive many

Demand worship

Fight against the church and God’s people

Make a peace agreement with many nations, then break it

Work closely with a false prophet

3. Signs of the Antichrist (According to Scripture)

These signs show his arrival is getting closer:

✔️ Increase of false prophets

✔️ Love of many growing cold

✔️ Lawlessness increasing

✔️ Nations preparing for a global government

✔️ People celebrating sin and rejecting truth

✔️ Weakening of genuine Christianity

4. What Will Antichrist Do? (Revelation 13)

He will control the world economy

People will not be able to buy or sell without his mark (Mark of the Beast)

He will persecute believers who refuse to worship him

He will unite political, religious, and economic power

5. How Can a Christian Stand Against the Antichrist Spirit?

✔️ Stay in the Word of God

Truth destroys deception.

✔️ Be filled with the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit reveals lies before they enter your life.

✔️ Live a holy life

Sin opens the door to deception.

✔️ Stay prayerful and watchful

Jesus said, “Watch and pray” (Matthew 26:41).

✔️ Be planted in a truthful church

Don’t follow churches that preach what people want to hear instead of the true gospel.

6. The Good News

Even though the Antichrist will rise, he will be destroyed by Jesus Christ Himself:

> “The Lord shall consume him with the spirit of His mouth.”
(2 Thessalonians 2:8)

Christ wins.
The church wins.
Truth wins

RESTORING SOULS AFTER HARSH CORRECTION”
When a minister of God has used harsh or hurtful words that cause members to lose hope or leave the church, it takes humility, love, and spiritual wisdom to win them back.

Here are the key things a minister must do to restore trust and win souls back:

🌿 1. Genuine Repentance Before God

The first step is to go before God in humility and repentance.

Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal where pride, anger, or lack of patience entered.

Scripture: Psalm 51:10 — “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”

🤝 2. Acknowledge the Mistake Openly

A true leader does not hide their wrong.

When members see a minister admit a mistake, it restores trust and shows sincerity.

Scripture: James 5:16 — “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.”

❤️ 3. Seek Reconciliation Personally

Visit or call those who were hurt.

Speak with love and humility: “I realize my words wounded you, and I am truly sorry.”

This simple act can soften hearts more than many sermons.

Scripture: Matthew 5:23–24 — “First be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.”

🕊️ 4. Show Consistent Love and Patience

After apologizing, actions must show change.

Treat people with gentleness, kindness, and patience.

Scripture: 2 Timothy 2:24 25 — “The servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient…”

🌾 5. Teach with Compassion, Not Condemnation

Correction is needed in the church, but it must come from love, not frustration.

Teach people the truth gently, remembering that growth takes time.

Scripture: Galatians 6:1 — “If a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness.”

🔥 6. Pray for Healing and Restoration

Some wounds are spiritual and emotional. Only God can heal hearts.

Pray for those who left or became cold toward God.

Scripture: Psalm 147:3 — “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.”

🙌 7. Let Your Testimony Speak

Over time, your humility, gentleness, and maturity will prove that you have changed.

When people see the fruit of the Spirit in you, their hearts will turn back.

Scripture: Matthew 7:20 — “By their fruits ye shall know them .

That’s a powerful topic, “Judas in the House of God.”
Let’s look at it deeply — biblically, spiritually, and practically.

🕊️ Topic: Judas in the House of God

Text: John 12:4–6; Matthew 26:14–16; Luke 22:47–48

Memory Verse:

> “Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.” — Luke 22:3 (KJV)

1. Introduction

Judas Iscariot was not an outsider.
He was one of the twelve disciples chosen by Jesus Himself — a man who ate with the Lord, followed Him, and even performed miracles with the others.
Yet, despite being close to the truth, he harbored deceit, greed, and hypocrisy in his heart.

In every generation and every church, there are “Judas spirits” — people who are physically present in the house of God but spiritually absent, pretending to love God while serving their own interests.

2. Who Is a Judas in the House of God?

A Judas is someone who:

Is close to the altar but far from the truth.

Pretends to serve God but actually serves self and gain.

Smiles in public but betrays in secret.

Knows the Word but denies the power thereof. (2 Timothy 3:5)

3. Characteristics of Judas in the House of God

1. Double Life — Acts holy in church, but lives in sin secretly.

2. Love of Money — Sells loyalty and ministry for material gain. (Matthew 26:15)

3. Jealousy and Envy — Displeased when others are praised or blessed.

4. Hypocrisy — Pretends to care for people but has hidden motives. (John 12:5–6)

5. Disobedience to the Spirit — Hardens the heart against correction.

6. Betrayal of Trust — Reveals secrets of leadership or ministry for selfish advantage.

4. The Danger of Being a Judas

Judas lost his position, peace, and salvation.

The same anointing he once carried became a curse because his heart was corrupted.

The devil entered him when he refused to repent. (Luke 22:3)

5. Lessons from Judas’ Life

Proximity to Jesus is not the same as intimacy with Jesus.

Anointing without character leads to destruction.

Greed and pride are doorways for Satan.

Repentance delayed can become repentance denied.

6. How to Avoid Becoming a Judas

1. Guard your heart — Proverbs 4:23

2. Submit to correction and accountability

3. Serve God sincerely, not for gain — Colossians 3:23

4. Love truth more than position

5. Stay humble and broken before God

6. Check your motives — “Why am I doing what I’m doing in church?”

7. Prayer Points

1. Lord, deliver me from every Judas spirit in me or around me.

2. Lord, purify my motives in service.

3. Every hidden agenda in the church of God — be exposed by fire!

4. Lord, make me a faithful disciple, not a betrayer.

Conclusion

Judas kissed Jesus, but that kiss was betrayal.
Many today still “kiss” the Lord with lips of worship but hearts of deceit.
Let us not just be in the house of God, but truly belong to God.
For in every house, there are vessels of honor and dishonor — may you be a vessel unto honor (2 Timothy 2:20–21).

“THE ALTAR THAT BLEEDING”
It speaks of a spiritual situation where the altar — the place of sacrifice, prayer, and covenant — is no longer pure or peaceful, but wounded and bleeding because of sin, disunity, and neglect in the house of God.

💠 TOPIC: The Altar That’s Bleeding

Text: Joel 1:13-14; Malachi 2:13; Hebrews 13:10

I. INTRODUCTION

An altar is a sacred place of meeting between God and man — a place of sacrifice, covenant, and prayer.
When an altar “bleeds,” it signifies that something has gone wrong in the spiritual atmosphere.
Instead of producing life, power, and answered prayers, the altar begins to cry out in pain because of sin, broken covenants, or unholy practices.

II. WHAT DOES A BLEEDING ALTAR MEAN?

1. A wounded spiritual foundation.
The presence of God departs, and sacrifices lose their power. (1 Samuel 4:21)

2. A corrupted altar.
Strange fire, false prophecy, and impurity have polluted the sacred place. (Leviticus 10:1–2)

3. A neglected altar.
When prayer, worship, and holiness are no longer maintained. (1 Kings 18:30)

4. A divided altar.
When disunity, jealousy, and strife dwell among ministers. (Matthew 12:25)

III. SIGNS THAT AN ALTAR IS BLEEDING

The church loses spiritual power and joy.

People are offended and wounded instead of being healed.

Ministers quarrel or complete instead of cooperating.

Worship becomes mechanical, without God’s presence.

Souls are not genuinely converted.

IV. WHAT CAUSES A BLEEDING ALTAR

1. Sin among the ministers or congregation. (Isaiah 59:2)

2. Unforgiveness and bitterness. (Matthew 6:14–15)

3. Pride and self-glorification at the altar. (James 4:6)

4. False teachings and manipulation. (2 Peter 2:1–3)

5. Neglect of prayer and holiness. (Matthew 26:40–41)

V. HOW TO HEAL THE BLEEDING ALTAR

1. Repentance and confession of sin.
Return to God in humility. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

2. Rebuild the altar of righteousness.
Elijah repaired the broken altar before fire fell (1 Kings 18:30–32).

3. Renew your covenant with God.
The blood of Jesus cleanses and restores holiness. (Hebrews 9:14)

4. Restore unity and love among ministers.
Healing comes when the body of Christ is united. (Psalm 133:1–3)

5. Re-dedicate the altar through prayer, fasting, and worship.
(Joel 2:15–17)

6. Guard the altar from defilement.
Only those who are pure in heart should minister before God. (Psalm 24:3–4)

VI. CONCLUSION

When the altar bleeds, the church suffers. But when the altar is healed, revival comes.
God is calling His ministers to repair the altar of prayer, holiness, and truth. A pure altar brings pure fire, but a bleeding altar brings confusion.

Let every leader and believer cry unto God today:

> “Lord, heal our altars — our hearts, our homes, and our ministries — and let Your glory return!”

PRAYER POINTS

1. Lord, forgive every sin that has wounded our altar.

2. Let the blood of Jesus cleanse our altars from defilement.

3. Restore Your presence, O Lord, and let Your fire fall again.

4. Heal every wounded minister and reconcile every broken relationship.

5. Let Your peace reign in Your house once more.

God bless you all in Jesus name Amen
