The enlargement and expansion of your growth spiritually is fully measured by not only the duration of the time you spend with God but by what you are able to receive during that period
Your yearning should not be only spending a long time but to have a longing to receive from God
You can be brought into the light of the mysteries of God even within an hour but what matters most is what God has been able to reveal to you
Many of us are after: "I want to pray for 3hours stretch", "I need to study for 2 hours". It's not only the duration that matters, the word you receive matters
It happens that you can pray for 2 and half hours yet you won't receive anything from God. Prayer and Bible study is not a one-man thing, it is a two-man discussion
It's the word you receive that will determine how God will want the duration of time will be
God determines how long He'll spend with you not you determining how long you'll spend with Him.
I'm not saying praying and studying for long is not important, it good to desire something great but there should be a positive result
