DAY TWENTY
MEDITATION

‭‭1 Samuel 15:19 NIV‬‬
[19] Why did you not obey the Lord? Why did you pounce on the plunder and do evil in the eyes of the Lord?”

‭‭Philippians 3:7 ASV‬‬
[7] Howbeit what things were gain to me, these have I counted loss for Christ.

The gains of unrighteousness is the reason many has lost their ministry. Why did you jump upon the plunder? A very heavy question!.

‭‭1 Samuel 13:14 ASV‬‬
[14] But now thy kingdom shall not continue: Jehovah hath sought him a man after his own heart, and Jehovah hath appointed him to be prince over his people, because thou hast not kept that which Jehovah commanded thee.

Let's Pray:-
- Father we repent as your people for lusting after unrighteous gains.
- Father, let the reign of men be brought to an end.
- Father, raise Sons who will be loyal to you again!

DAY NINETEEN
MEDITATION

‭‭Galatians 1:14-16 ASV‬‬
[14] and I advanced in the Jews’ religion beyond many of mine own age among my countrymen, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions of my fathers. [15] But when it was the good pleasure of God, who separated me, even from my mother’s womb, and called me through his grace, [16] to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles; straightway I conferred not with flesh and blood:

Paul at a young age began to see the Hand of God upon his life, although he misused it at the beginning but he realises that a season came when God indeed wanted to manifest Himself, he decided at this time that he will truly seek the Lord rather than allow the flesh to dictate to him.

King Saul saw himself small but he was eventually ruled by his flesh; David went to process and trainings, eventually became the God kind of man. We need men who will bear the burdens of our God again.

Let's Pray:-
- Father, reveal Your Son in us
- Lord, bring Your men to realize that the flesh profits nothing
- Lord, enthrone Your David's.

DAY FOURTEEN
MEDITATION

‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭15:13‬ ‭HCSB‬‬
[13] When Samuel came to him, Saul said, “May the Lord bless you. I have carried out the Lord’s instructions.”
[15] Saul answered, “The troops brought them from the Amalekites and spared the best sheep and cattle in order to offer a sacrifice to the Lord your God, but the rest we destroyed.”

The House of Saul is symbolic of men who are anointed but wants to achieve God's plan through man's way.

We speak about taking the mountains, whereas these mountains ought to be destroyed. God doesn't want to have anything to do with or on these mountains.

Let's Pray:-
- Lord, make the mountains we have exalted be brought low
- Lord, continue to build with us
- Lord, cut off the means of by which men are hoping to achieve Your plans

DAY ELEVEN
MEDITATION

‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭16:14‬ ‭HCSB‬‬
[14] Now the Spirit of the Lord had left Saul, and an evil spirit sent from the Lord began to torment him,

It is dangerous to follow some men; although anointed at some point, they have derailed from the path (spiritual progress). Apostle Paul says, follow me as I follow Christ.

What is revealed in this scripture is deep spiritual truth, and many of these people do not even know they are operating by a filthy spirit and some of us are loyalist like Jonathan who would eventually die with Saul in battle, although he could discern God is now with David.

Let's Pray:-
- Lord, enlighten the eyes of church folks to see deep spiritual matter
- Lord, may our discernment be heightened in this generation
- Lord, help your church not to be loyal to people who are misleading us

DAY TEN
MEDITATION

‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭10:26‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[26] Saul also went to his home in Gibeah, accompanied by valiant men whose hearts God had touched.

It is the Lord that touches men's hearts, it is the sovereign rule of God that causes men to follow us, no one can achieve anything except it is given from above, this the Lord reiterated to Pilate.

‭‭1 Chronicles‬ ‭12:22‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[22] Day after day men came to help David, until he had a great army, like the army of God.

Except the Lord builds, the builders does so in vain, may the Lord help us.

Let's Pray:-
- Lord, help Your elects in this nation.
- Lord, please build with us
- Lord, turn the hearts of men to Your true Sons

DAY NINE
MEDITATION

‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭13:9‬ ‭HCSB‬‬
[9] So Saul said, “Bring me the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings.” Then he offered the burnt offering.

This happened while Saul was waiting for the Prophet Samuel to arrive and the people were deserting Saul, he wanted men's accolade above God's!.

‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭14:35‬ ‭HCSB‬‬
[35] Then Saul built an altar to the Lord; it was the first time he had built an altar to the Lord.

A generation that doesn't pray and study God's Word would eventually be ruled by their flesh. This is the obvious thing reflecting in God's Church today, men and women who do not have a prayer life but have become leaders whom others are hoping to look like.

Let's Pray:-
- Lord, give us again a revival of Prayer and the Word
- Lord, pour upon Your Church, the Spirit of Grace
- Lord, give true influence to Your loyal servants

DAY EIGHT
MEDITATION

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭HCSB‬‬
[7] If you do what is right, won’t you be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is for you, but you must rule over it.”

A little compromise is how the journey into sin begins, little by little sin becomes the lord over a man. When we do what is right, we are safe.

‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭15:22‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[22] But Samuel replied: “Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than the fat of rams.

To OBEY is better, obedience is powerful. We need men that will be ready to do what is right in every situation and circumstances; we must become men who wants to be accepted by God at all times.

Let's Pray:-
- Lord, make me consistent in my walk with You
- Lord, empower us by your Spirit to rule over worldliness
- Lord, pour upon the nations the Spirit of Grace

DAY SEVEN
MEDITATION

‭‭Matthew‬ ‭21:23‬ ‭HCSB‬‬
[23] When He entered the temple complex, the chief priests and the elders of the people came up to Him as He was teaching and said, “By what authority are You doing these things? Who gave You this authority? ”

The House of Saul is a home of fear. They do not want people to know the Truth, they are after content creation, customer services, likes, followers and the likes, because of this, they can do anything to get them.

They are asking us also what authority do we have to call them out!. An acclaimed leader who can say 'Why are we trying to be holier than the Holy Spirit', it's a big joke on us.

‭‭Acts‬ ‭5:28‬ ‭HCSB‬‬
[28] “Didn’t we strictly order you not to teach in this name? And look, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and are determined to bring this man’s blood on us! ”

This is their fear but the Lord shall fill the lands with His Doctrine.

Let's Pray:-
- Lord, let the lands be covered with the knowledge of the Truth
- Lord, let the influence of the deceivers be taken away from them
- Lord, give Your people the hearts to endure learning Doctrine.
- Lord, raise for Your church again, teaching priests.

DAY SIX
MEDITATION

‭‭Acts‬ ‭7:51‬ ‭HCSB‬‬
[51] “You stiff-necked people with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You are always resisting the Holy Spirit; as your ancestors did, so do you.

When men reject the Word of the Lord, they are resisting the Spirit. The Holy Ghost is whom is speaking by His prophets but such men are not ready to repent.

Saul was a man who be little himself when he had not come into power; when men had not come up to limelight, they will be little in their own eyes.

The Kingdom of God will only prosper when there are men who though powerful are like children in the Hands of God; depending on God and being led by God.

Let's Pray:-
- Lord, give us a heart that trembles at Your Word.
- Lord, thunder from heaven and make all men afraid.
- Lord, bring Your True Sons to limelight to diminish the voices of the counterfeits.

DAY FIVE
MEDITATION

‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭HCSB‬‬
[1] The war between the house of Saul and the house of David was long and drawn out, with David growing stronger and the house of Saul becoming weaker.

The House of Saul is symbolic of men who rejects the Word of the Lord. Men often think they can be wiser than God, they will obey some parts of God's word and follow theirs in the other parts.

‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭15:26‬ ‭HCSB‬‬
[26] Samuel replied to Saul, “I will not return with you. Because you rejected the word of the Lord, the Lord has rejected you from being king over Israel.”

The scripture is clear about everything but we always bend it's interpretation to what we want. Whatever lie a man wants to defend, you can look for a scripture to backup yourself!.

Let's Pray;
- Lord, make it obvious that you have rejected them who rejected You!.
- Lord, take away the public relevance of them who has no regard for Your word and covenant
- Lord, amplify the voices of Your True Sons.

DAY FOUR
MEDITATION

‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭ASV‬‬
[1] Now there was long war between the house of Saul and the house of David: and David waxed stronger and stronger, but the house of Saul waxed weaker and weaker.

Brothers and sisters, it is going to be a long war and this is why we must be ready to stand our ground. You must be consistent and persistent until God reaches His Goal.

The war between righteousness and unrighteousness; uprightness and iniquity; obedience and disobedience; Faithfulness and trespasses. It is going to be a long one in our generation.

‭‭Acts‬ ‭3:25‬ ‭HCSB‬‬
[25] You are the sons of the prophets and of the covenant that God made with your ancestors, saying to Abraham, And all the families of the earth will be blessed through your offspring.

We are the offspring, the descendants and the Sons of the prophets and the covenant; our fathers are watching from the clouds of Glory and the fathers who had labored in the land, though old are all counting on us.

Let's Pray;
- Lord, fight unrighteousness in our generation
- Lord, grant unto me a righteous heart and a consistent spirit
- Lord, quench the head of the beast from whose mouth the mystery of iniquity is coming so fast
- Lord, for the sake of the elect, shorten the duration of this long war

DAY THREE
MEDITATION

‭‭2 Samuel‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭ASV‬‬
[1] Now there was long war between the house of Saul and the house of David: and David waxed stronger and stronger, but the house of Saul waxed weaker and weaker.

Saul was found when a generation said, Give us a King like other nations to lead us to war. Emphasis this morning on 'Like other nations'!.

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:5‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[5] Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.

When we begin to set our affection where the world is seeking pleasure, we will surely be lured away from the One True God. We are a people who cannot be differentiated from the world, we left the Theocracy of Zion.

A generation came and taught that Christianity should not be BORING, we can change some lyrics, we can dance like in the disco; but a new Tribe of Puritans must arise.

Let's Pray;
- Lord, we repent of our Appetite for carnality
- Lord, turn our hearts to you in purity and holiness
- Lord, extend Your rod from Zion and purge Your people
- Lord, bring a Separation amidst this ecumenism.
