There are some church services you attend and go home, and then there are services that stay in your mind long after they are over. Our last Manna Service was one of those moments people are still talking about.
From the very beginning, the atmosphere already felt different. The worship was deep, the prayers were intense, and many people came expecting something from God. As the service continued, it slowly became clear that this was not going to be an ordinary day.
One of the highlights of the service was when Archbishop Dr. Onyeka Nzekwesi, Bishop onyeka tv, founder of Pineleaf Estate and Properties Ltd, joined us. Many people had heard about him before, but seeing him right there in the service created excitement and curiosity in the room.
Then something interesting happened when he started sharing the message titled “Good News.”
Instead of just preaching immediately, he began telling us about his early days of preaching. He spoke about a time when he used to preach in buses. Back then, many bus drivers and conductors would not even allow preaching inside the bus because passengers just wanted to travel quietly.
But he said something that surprised many people.
He would actually pay for everyone in the bus just so he could preach the Good News to them, IMAGINE THE EXTENT!
Imagine entering a bus, and someone has already paid your transport fare, and then he begins to share a message that could change your life. When he shared that story in church, many people were impressed by the passion and dedication he demonstrated in spreading the message.
But then he shared a part of the story that made the whole church very quiet.
He said there was one particular day while preaching in a bus that something unexpected happened. The message that day touched someone deeply, and later he realized that the words spoken that day changed the mind of a person who was about to make a very serious decision in their life.
When he said that, the whole church became very attentive.
Because everyone wanted to hear what happened next.
But instead of explaining everything at that moment, he focused on the message of hope and why the Good News is important for everyone to hear, especially in times when people are going through different struggles in life.
Honestly, that part of the story alone made many people want to hear the full message again.
