THE GOD WHO STILL ANSWERS PRAYER
“And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.” — Psalm 50:15

The resurrection gives confidence to prayer. It reminds us that we are not speaking into silence when we call on God. We pray to the living Christ, the One who conquered the grave and now reigns with power and authority.

Easter assures us that heaven is not closed to the cries of God’s people. There are seasons when prayer feels difficult. A person has prayed long, waited much, and seen little change.

Discouragement begins to settle in, and prayer slowly becomes weaker, shorter, and less expectant. Yet the resurrection calls us back to confidence. The One we pray to is alive forevermore.

Answered prayer does not always come in the timing or form we imagined. Sometimes God answers quickly. Sometimes He answers gradually.

Sometimes He answers by changing the situation, and sometimes by strengthening the person within it. But in all these ways, He remains attentive, wise, and faithful.

Easter teaches us that God can act even when the situation looks sealed. The stone at the tomb did not stop the power of God. Difficult circumstances do not stop Him now.

So pray again. Ask again. Trust again. The risen Christ still hears.

Prayer
Lord, renew my confidence in prayer. Deliver me from discouragement, teach me to call on You with faith, and let me see the evidence of Your living power in my life. Amen.

Have a blessed day.

Welcome to the month of April and the second quarter of the year. “April” is believed to have come from the Latin word “aperire,” which means “to open.” So, I pray the LORD to open the floodgates of heaven and pour on you and your family blessings of new life, fresh beginnings, growth, blossoming renewal and hope. May the LORD also open any prison door closed against you and grant you freedom, victory, peace and happiness (Acts 12:6-11).

Happy New Month!

DAILY GRACE
“My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9

Hope often falters because we imagine we must be strong for everything at once. God offers something different: sufficient grace for today.

Beauty from ashes emerges when we stop demanding total strength and begin receiving daily grace.

Weakness does not disqualify you from hope. It creates space for God’s power to work more honestly.

Being positive in hardship does not mean denying pain. It means refusing to let pain define the future.

When life hits you hard and all around you find that things beyond your control are causing you pain and despair. Hand it over to God.

The challenges of life may not disappear after prayer but the daily dose of grace and power remain constant to sustain you. God will train you with delay, silence and discipline for his glory.

Let your faith ignite and become the substance of things hoped for and evidence of things unseen. Leave tomorrow to God, Today’s strength is enough.

Questions
What would it mean to accept sufficiency rather than abundance?

How has weakness shaped your faith?

Prayer
Lord, give me grace for today.
Teach me that your grace is truly enough. I hand over all my battles to you today. Amen

BEAUTIFUL ASHES “To give them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a faint spirit.”Isaiah 61:3 Ashes are what remain when something has burned down. They hold the memory of loss, of what once had form and colour. God does not deny this reality. He does not pretend ashes are flowers. He names them honestly. And then He promises something startling: beauty instead of ashes. Not beauty that erases the past, but beauty that grows from the same ground where loss occurred.Hope begins here. God works with what remains. He does not waste pain or discard broken places. He transforms them. Hope does not require immediate evidence. It requires a willingness to believe that God is not finished. Even when prayer has not yet changed circumstances, hope believes that God is not finished. Ashes are not the end of the story. Prayer: Lord, where loss has spoken loudly, begin Your quiet work of beauty and glory. Amen. Have a blessed day!
