PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE

IIPET.1:4-10, ICOR.12:7-11

INTRODUCTION

i. To partake means to be part or to participate in something or in someone's affairs.

ii. Divine, this meant something that is connected with spirituality.

iii. Nature, it's an act of occurrences that happens which cannot be controlled by human energy(s) or physical sciences.

So when we talk about PARTAKERS OF THE DIVINE NATURE, we are automatically saying that, you as a Christian or Believer in Christ Jesus, you are meant to partake or to participate in the things of the Spirit, so to make or cause an effect to any occurrences that cannot be controlled or manipulate by any human energy(s) or physical sciences, etc (Rom.8:19-23, IICOR.5:5).

2Pet.1.4-10
"Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:"

COVENANTS IN THE ANCESTRY ACT

Heb.7:5-10
"And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:
But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.
And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.
And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.
And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham.
For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him."

Gen.33:19-20
"And he bought a parcel of a field, where he had spread his tent, at the hand of the children of Hamor, Shechem's father, for an hundred pieces of money.
