DIFFERENT GIFTS FOR DIFFERENT PEOPLE
1 COR. 12:4-11
God gives different gifts to people through the Holy Spirit. The gifts may differ, but the source is the same—the Holy Spirit. The ministry in which God wants people to work also differs — some in ministering the word, some in praying and deliverance, some in evangelism and missions, some in administration, etc. All these are meant to serve the same Lord and not self. How the same gift manifests even differs from one individual to another, yet, the power comes from the source—God. The manifestation of the gifts is for the intent and purpose of building up the body of Christ, and not for the recipient to vaunt himself or enrich himself. Whatever gift God has given you should be used to the benefit of other Christians.
POINT OF EMPHASIS: God gives different gifts to different people.
PRAYER POINT: Father, fill me with gifts of the Holy Spirit and use me to bring glory to Your name.
