REV. DANJUMA AKALENYI
KINGDOM INVESTMENT
Text: Matthew 6:19–20

DEFINITION OF INVESTMENT
Investment is the act of committing resources — money, time, talent, or energy — today with the
expectation of getting a greater return or benefit in the future.
Galatians 6:7

3 CORE ELEMENTS OF EVERY INVESTMENT
1. RESOURCE: What you are putting in: Money, Time, Talent, Energy.
2. RISK: You give up current use for future potential.
3. RETURN: The expected gain: Profit, Growth, Impact, Reward.
Investment = Using what you have today to create more of what you want tomorrow.

DEFINITION OF KINGDOM INVESTMENT
Kingdom Investment is the intentional use of your time, talent, and treasure to advance the purposes
of God on earth, with the expectation of eternal rewards rather than temporary gain.

3 REASONS FOR WEALTH
1. To live a comfortable life.
2. To finance the kingdom work.
3. To put a smile on someone’s face.

WHAT KINGDOM INVESTMENT IS NOT
• It’s not buying God’s favor.
• It’s not religious duty.
• It’s not sowing seed expecting God’s harvest.

NOTES ON KINGDOM INVESTMENT
1. It is the proof that you know God is the supplier.
2. It is the proof that you understand how the kingdom works.
3. It is proof you think about eternity.
4. It is the proof you need reward now and in eternity
