If you are a follower of Christ, foundationally you must sacrifice yourself. The item for sacrifice is primarily yourself. In the olden days it was, "Lord what shall we do" but in our present day it is Lord, "what will you do for me".
Even if one has worked in love he/she still have to look for mercy to bring him/ her to eternal life.
Count it a privilege that you were drawn amongst others to serve him. When we understand that we are just an unprofitable servants it is only a privilege that God has given us to serve HIM.
The life you are called to live even if nobody is seeing, God sees. A day would come and responsibility would be asking who is more qualified to get this. The sacrifice must pay one day.
We have been called for it. It is for our daily living. We shouldn't live our lives like since we have handed over, it should be our daily work.
Let this mind that is in Christ Jesus be found in me. Jesus did it for the love of the father not for a reward.
