The Challenges Of The Present Hour.

TEXT:
Romans 8:35–39, 2 Corinthians 11:24–28, 2 Timothy 3:10–12, Psalm 50:15

POINTS TO CONSIDER

Point 1; The Reasons, Our Approach and Examples.
Text: Hebrews 11:24–26, John 4:30–34

Point 2; Our Expected Response and Effect.
Text: 2 Timothy 2:4, Acts 5:41

Challenges are bound to happen, but they are opportunities for God’s name to be glorified. Circumstances should not draw us away from God; rather, they should draw us closer to Him. In times of challenges, it is a perfect time to remain with God and trust Him.

God is our Deliverer. Persecution and challenges are part of the Christian journey and can serve as a test of our faith. We must learn to face challenges with faith, knowing that God is able to deliver us.

We must be heavenly conscious and not allow the pleasures and pressures of the world to control us. When challenges come, our response should be steadfastness, faith, and dependence on God. Challenges should strengthen our commitment to Christ and draw us closer to Him.

KEY THOUGHT;

Challenges may come, but they should draw us closer to God, strengthen our faith, and give God an opportunity to glorify His name through our lives.

The present hour comes with storms, tribulations, failures, misunderstanding and persecution. But this hymn reminds us that we are not alone in these challenges.

As we sing, let us trust the God who rules the storms, never loses a battle and stood by Paul and Silas. Whatever we are facing today, may we remember to call on Him: β€œLord, stand by me

Testimonies are a way of publicly acknowledging the goodness, faithfulness, preservation, healing, and saving power of God. As we listen to these testimonies, may our faith be strengthened and may we also remember to give God all the glory for His works in our lives.

Testimonies;
An Individual is thanking God for adding another year to her life yesterday.

Another person is thanking God for saving her from the hands of kidnappers last two weeks Friday.

Some else is appreciating God for healing her from stomach pain last week Sunday, after the coordinator prayers.

Another individual is appreciating God for the salvation of her soul.

Also another appreciating God for delivering her sister from a near-death experience.

CHOIR MINISTRATION.

This World Is Not Our Own

The choir ministration reminds us of a truth we must never forget: this world is not our permanent home. We are only passing through, and one day every earthly gathering and service will come to an end. We will leave this world and stand before our Creator.

Jesus has gone ahead to prepare a place for His people. There will be a time when there will be no more pain, no more night, and no more sorrow. Therefore, we must not become too comfortable with the things of this world or allow earthly pleasures to make us forget eternity.

The message is simple: Get prepared to go. Jesus is coming soon. Let us live each day with eternity in view, remain faithful to God, and make sure that when He comes, we are ready to go home.

This world is not our home. We are only passing by.

Praise is our expression of gratitude to God, while worship is our response to His greatness and faithfulness. As we gather in His presence, let us set aside every distraction and focus our hearts on Him.

Regardless of what we may be facing, God remains worthy of our praise. Let our worship come from a sincere heart, not merely from our lips. As we praise Him, may our hearts be refreshed, our faith strengthened, and our burdens lifted.

Let us praise God with joy and worship Him with reverence, knowing that His presence brings hope, peace, and renewed strength.
