A little motherhood reflection from my heart tonight.
Today did not go exactly as I planned.
I had things to do, posts to make, messages to reply to, and responsibilities to handle. But my daughter was unusually clingy all day. She wanted to stay close, be held, and remain by my side.
At first, I felt like I was not getting much done.
Then I realized something important: not every productive day looks productive from the outside.
Sometimes God gives us work.
Sometimes He gives us rest.
And sometimes He gives us little ones who simply need their mother.
To every mother who feels interrupted, delayed, or less productive because your child needed you today, please do not be too hard on yourself.
The dishes may wait.
The posts may wait.
The business may wait for a moment.
But the little heart that keeps reaching for you may not always remain this little.
Motherhood is not a distraction from purpose. For many of us, it is part of the purpose.
Tonight, I choose grace over guilt, presence over pressure, and gratitude over frustration.
