ABAS AKSU CHAPTER SUCCESSFULLY CARRIES OUT MINISTRY WORKS ACROSS BOTH CAMPUSES

With hearts full of gratitude and thanksgiving, the Association of Brotherhood Academic Scholars (ABAS), Akwa Ibom State University Chapter, gives all glory, honour, and praise to our Heavenly Father for the successful ministry works carried out by both campuses.

The Main Campus Abasites embarked on a ministry work at Ukam Pentecostal Centre, Mkpat Enin Local Government Area, while the Obio Akpa Campus Abasites carried out theirs at Ukana Ikot Ntuen, Essien Udim Local Government Area. Abasites from both campuses came out in great numbers to participate in the evening service and morning prayer, experiencing the Father's love, guidance, protection, and abundant blessings.

The ministry works strengthened our faith, renewed our commitment to the Father's service, and reminded us to trust Him in every aspect of our lives. As academic scholars, we pray that the spiritual strength gained will translate into wisdom, understanding, excellence, and outstanding success in our academic pursuits.

The activities concluded joyfully with a Love Feast, where brethren shared moments of love, unity, fellowship, and thanksgiving. We sincerely appreciate every Abasite whose prayers, support, and participation contributed to the success of these ministry works. May our Heavenly Father continue to bless, strengthen, and reward all who faithfully make time for His Holy services.

ABAS AKSU CHAPTER OBSERVES THURSDAY BREAKING OF FASTING IN AN ATMOSPHERE OF WORSHIP AND FELLOWSHIP

The Association of Brotherhood Academic Scholars (ABAS), Akwa Ibom State University Chapter, today successfully observed the Thursday Breaking of Fasting, bringing ABASites together in an atmosphere of worship, spiritual reflection, and brotherly fellowship.

The exercise commenced promptly at 6:00 p.m. with the ringing of the bell, signalling the gathering of brethren for the sacred observance. This was followed by the sharing of the Holy Gospel, through which ABASites received divine teachings, spiritual guidance, and words of encouragement that strengthened their faith and renewed their commitment to the Father's Kingdom.

The gathering also provided an opportunity for members to reflect on the Gospel message, interact in love and unity, and deepen the bond of fellowship that characterizes the Brotherhood.

The observance culminated in a joyous LOVE FEAST, marking the conclusion of the fasting exercise as brethren shared a meal together in an atmosphere of love, gratitude, peace, and oneness.

A SUCCESSFUL CHAPTER CONGRESS MARKED BY UNITY, PREPARATION, AND CELEBRATION

Yesterday, 28th of June 2026,the Association of Brotherhood Academic Scholars (ABAS), Akwa Ibom State University Chapter, successfully held her Chapter Congress on 28th June, 2026 at BCS Ikot Akpaden Bethel,which serves as the chapters worship centre,bringing together members in an atmosphere of love, unity, and purposeful deliberations.

A major highlight of the Congress was the discussion on preparations for the forthcoming ABAS International Week with the Father and the 22nd ABAS Akwa Ibom State Convocation 2026. Members received important updates and strategic directives aimed at ensuring active participation and adequate preparation towards the success of both events.

The Congress also featured the much-anticipated ABAS AKSU IGNITE Event, which added colour and excitement to the gathering. During the event, several Abasites emerged as winners in the raffle draw and went home with exciting prizes. In a remarkable demonstration of love and fellowship, every ABASite present also received gifts, making the occasion memorable for all.
Another significant highlight of the event was the crowning of the Face of ABAS AKSU 2025/2026 in the person of Bro.Mbajah Iyokassa.

Members actively contributed during the Congress by sharing valuable suggestions, ideas, and recommendations geared towards strengthening the Chapter and advancing its objectives. Deliberations centred on strategies for improved participation, effective programme ex*****on, membership development, and other initiatives aimed at fostering the continuous growth, unity, and success of the Chapter.

The Congress concluded with a LOVE FEAST, providing members with an opportunity to further fellowship and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood.

The ABAS AKSU IGNITE/Chapter Congress was truly a remarkable and memorable experience. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, excitement, unity, and so much joy.😊

The energy was unmatched as both campuses came together, with the Sisters and Brothers showcasing their amazing talents in the dancing competition.💃🕺🏽

We also had the amazing spiritual chorus challenge between Main Campus and Obio Akpa Campus, where both campuses blessed us with beautiful performances. Congratulations to Obio Akpa Campus for emerging as the winner.🎉🏆

The excitement continued with our raffle draw, where we had four lucky winners🎁 who received their prizes.
Guess what? Every other Abasite was carried along too. Everyone went home with a gift of exercise books and pens.

The Chapter Congress added even more beauty to the day, making it a truly unforgettable gathering.
Indeed, it was a day filled with love, happiness, unity, and beautiful memories.🤍

It was a moment of nostalgia and ecstatic joy as the 47th Anniversary Celebration of the Association of Brotherhood Academic Scholars (ABAS) International officially commenced today, with the Holy Father, His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, graciously flagging off the week-long celebration.

Our Holy Father declared abundant blessings upon all ABASites across the globe and called on every ABASite to key into this year’s anniversary celebration, assuring them that enormous blessings await all His children.

CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO ALL THE ERUDITE SCHOLARS OF OLUMBA

On behalf of Abas Aksu Chapter, I wish to formally congratulates all our graduands who convocated yesterday.

You have made Abas family proud by finishing your academic journey with excellence, this alone give all the undergraduates hope that in due session they will also be crown and adorn with academic success embedded attires.

As you all step into the a new chapter, may Proverbs 16:3 (Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans) be your guiding principle. Go and soar like eagles, we are super proud of you!

We pray for our Fathers protection, more open doors, opportunities, fruitfulness, testimonies, and more celebrations upon each and everyone of us.

Today, our Abasites in AKSU Chapter came together to celebrate a momentous occasion - *hoisting the flags of victory!* 🎉
It was a day filled with joy, gratitude, and fellowship.

Events of the Day:

1. *Flag Hoisting Ceremony:* We commenced the day with Divine Service, and proceeded to hoisting the flags of victory, symbolizing our triumph and faith in God's goodness.

2. *Food Basket for the Priest:* As a token of appreciation, a food basket was presented to our esteemed priest, acknowledging her tireless efforts in guiding us.

3. *General Fellowship:* The day culminated in a grand general fellowship meeting, where members came together to share Ideas to uplift the Father's work .

- The atmosphere was electrifying with a sense of accomplishment and joy filling the air.
- The priest's message was inspiring, reminding us to stay focused on our faith and values.
- The general fellowship meeting was a great opportunity for bonding and open discussions within members.

Today's service was a resounding success, and we're grateful to everyone who contributed to its success.
May the blessings of Our Father never cease from our homes, Amen.
