Official Announcement from Yobe State AMHS

following our meeting with the management of Al-Marif College of Nursing, Midwifery, and Health Sciences, Potiskum, our State Executive Council members and State Ameer and Secretary General convened a meeting with the AMHS excos of the college at their Juma'a mosque.
The meeting was highly productive, with fruitful discussions and we have received their local chapter report. Furthermore, we established a Local Organizing Committee (LOC) and (CWC) to spearhead the preparations for the upcoming Inter-college AMHS state Musabaqa, which will be hosted at Al-Marif College, In sha ALLAH.
We pray that Allah SWT facilitates our efforts and grants us success as we work together to make this event a memorable one.

Official Update from Yobe State AMHS

We are delighted to share with you all that yesterday friday 11/7/2025our State Ameer, Ustaz Muhammad Abubakar Grema Assalafy, and his Secretary General, Muhammad B. Mala from YSU Medical College, MBBS 400 level, recently paid a courtesy and condellence visit to Al-Marif College of Nursing, Midwifery, and Health Sciences, Potiskum.
During the visit, they held a productive meeting with the college management, led by the Registrar, where several pivotal issues were discussed. Notably, the Registrar, Mlm. Usman Alh. Saleh, was appointed as one of our state AMHS patrons, and our State Ameer formally presented the letter of appointment.

The Registrar also offered valuable advices incuding emphasizing the importance of adhering to our medical code of conduct and Islamic health ethics in our professionalism. Furthermore, it was decided that our upcoming state inter-college Musabaqa and seminar would be hosted at Al-Marif College, In sha'Allah.
The meeting concluded with prayers and supplications for the college community and our executive council members. We pray that Allah SWT blesses our endeavors.

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu

We are pleased to announce that we will be performing Salatul Eid in our beloved masjid for the first time, Masjidul Ummah G.M.K CHST. The prayer will take place at 8:45 am, and our esteemed Imam, Ustaz Muhammad Kabir, will lead the congregation.

Additionally, we are excited to announce that we will be commencing Salatul Juma'a for the first time in our masjid on the 20th of this month. Further details regarding Salatul Juma'a will be shared soon.

May Allah SWT bless this Eid with barakah and accept our prayers. Ameen.
