Finally Christmas is here.
Celebrations fill the air in cities, in towns and villages.

Cows, rams, chicken, turkey, millions of goats have been slaughtered and buried in big and small pots.
Can you say how many bags of rice have been drained?
Do you know how many tubers of yams have been cut to pieces and transformed to pounded yam today?
That is not to mention plantain, eggs, salad and beans.
Drinks, drinks, drinks, everywhere in their different tastes.

I have a million Christian friends and this is already 7:43am but i have not received anything from anyone yet.
The day is still young but I only voiced out so that I will not be forgotten and left out.
I can see Beautiful people in different, beautiful new dresses wearing beautiful smiles and exchanging pleasantries.
Oh yes, it is Christmas!

More than all these, let me draw the attention of my Christian brothers, sisters and friends that beyond the merriment, Christmas presents an opportunity for sober reflections, for reassessment, for asking questions, for the review of our actions, for gratitude to God and for prayers.
Christmas is not and must not be a period of sins.
Those who are planning to expand or test their appetite for alcohol must repent this moment.
Those who plan to engage in illicit s*x affairs must pause, do a rethink, retreat and repent.
Those who have bad feelings against others must forgive and forget in the spirit of Christmas.
Those who have wronged others must do what Christ encourages; the spirit of love, apology and forgiveness.
At Christmas, what must be spread and shared is love and peace not hatred, spite or antagonism.
I wish you all, godly Christmas celebrations and a happy and prosperous 2024 and beyond.
