NEW YEAR MESSAGE: 2025; OUR SEASON OF EPHRATHAH & ALL-ROUND SABBATH
Beloved in Christ,
As we step into this new year, we do so with gratitude to God, confidence in His Word, and discernment of the times. This year is not just another turn of the calendar; it marks our entrance into a divinely appointed season — our season of Ephrathah and all-round Sabbath.
Ephrathah speaks of fruitfulness, increase, and God bringing greatness out of what men consider small. Bethlehem Ephrathah was little among the thousands of Judah, yet from it came the Ruler of Israel (Micah 5:2). This year, God is visiting hidden seeds, quiet obediences, and overlooked labours. What was planted in obscurity will speak in visibility. What seemed delayed will emerge with divine authority.
This is a year when results will no longer struggle to prove themselves. God is causing fruit to speak for you. The grace to produce without noise, to grow without contention, and to advance without compromise is released upon us.
Alongside Ephrathah, we enter into an all-round Sabbath.
The Sabbath is not laziness; it is divine rest after divine order. It is the season where God silences unnecessary battles, ends fruitless striving, and restores strength to the weary. This year, the Lord is granting us rest:
Rest from repeated struggles
Rest from unending explanations
Rest from cycles that refused to break
Rest in our callings, families, labour, and assignments
This is a Sabbath where what pursued you will stop, and what you pursued will locate you. It is a rest that produces clarity, preservation, and completion.
However, every Sabbath must be guarded. Fruitfulness demands alignment. Rest demands obedience. This year calls for:
Sensitivity to divine instructions
Separation from distractions
Faithfulness in little things
Honour for God’s order and timing
Beloved, this is not a year to rush ahead of God, nor a year to lag behind Him. It is a year to walk with Him — deliberately, discerningly, and confidently.
As we move forward, may the Lord crown this year with goodness. May our land yield her increase. May our labour find rest, and may our obedience produce lasting fruit.
Welcome to your season of Ephrathah.
Welcome to your all-round Sabbath.
Welcome to a year where God does it quietly, completely, and gloriously.
Happy New Year, and may the Lord perfect all that concerns you.
Just tell a neighbor; EPHRATHA AND WELCOME TO YOUR ALL-ROUND SABBATH
