In October 2014, during the Boko Haram insurgency in Mubi, Adamawa State, Nigeria, our church building was burned down.

Instead of giving up, our congregation chose to rebuild. For more than 10 years, ordinary members have given sacrificially building one block at a time, one bag of cement at a time, and one prayer at a time. Today, the walls stand as a testimony to God's faithfulness, but the building is still incomplete.

We have reached a point where completing the project is beyond the capacity of our local congregation alone.Today, we are inviting people around the world to become part of this story.

Whether your gift is large or small, it will help us move closer to completing a permanent place of worship for a resilient community that has refused to let violence have the final word.

APPRECIATION AND UPDATE FOR YOUR ROOFING CONTRIBUTION

Dearly Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
On behalf of the entire members of Global Impact Christian centre, Mubi Adamawa State, I extend our deepest and profound gratitude 🙏 for your kind and generous contribution towards the roofing of our Church. Sometimes ago we sent a letter requesting for your partnership and support to roof our Church estimated at 23m. Nearly 2m was realised. Of the several People that we sent the request letters to only you and 98 others responded as shown below.1. 2 people contributed 2,000 each
2. 7 people contributed 3,000 each
3. 1 person contributed 4000
4. 40 people contributed 5,000 each
5. 20 people contributed 10,000 each
6. 1 person contributed 14000
7. 2 people contributed 30,000 each
8. 1 person contributed 48,396
9. 11 people contributed 50,000 each
10. 1 person contributed 25,000
11. 1 person contributed 40,000
12. 2 people contributed 100,000 each
13. 1 person contributed 500,000
14. 8 people contributed 20,000 each
Total: 2,026,396:00k
Your support is a true blessing and a wonderful demonstration of God's love ❤️ working through His people.
We are sincerely thankful for the amount you contributed. Your contribution has brought us closer to our goal of providing a safe and secure place of worship for our congregation and the community we serve. Every contribution no matter the size is meaningful and deeply appreciated.
While we acknowledge that the current funds are not yet sufficient to fully complete the roofing project, we remain hopeful and encourage. Your donation represent a significant step forward and has strengthened our faith that the Lord will provide the remaining resources in His perfect timing. We are actively continuing our fundraising efforts and prayerfully trusting God to meet this needs.
Meanwhile in the interim we have decided to use woods for a semi-permanent roofing because of the rains and the fact that the present place of worship is extremely weak and a disaster waiting to happen.
The estimate for the temporary wooden roofing is about 3.5m

20 bundles of Zinc 1.2m
Gasket and ridges 76,000
Workmanship 550,000
Total: 3.492m
The work has started in earnest as shown below.
