It's Convention Sunday and Annual Bible Study ๐Ÿ“–
Topic: Life of Daniel
Bible Text : Daniel 1:1โ€“6
Preacher: Rev'd Adebayo Tonade

Today, we reflected on the life of Danielโ€”a young man who stood firm for God even in a foreign land.

From his story, we are reminded to: โœจ Build a godly foundation โœจ Remain steadfast in the face of temptation โœจ Live with purity and integrity โœจ Walk in humility and courtesy โœจ Grow as team players in faith โœจ Develop healthy self-worth โœจ Walk in unityโ€”no selfishness โœจ Obey God with courage, no matter the cost

Like Daniel, may we choose conviction over compromise and faith over fear.

Sermon Topic: Fruit Of The Spirit, The Mark of a Mature Christian
Text: (Galatians 5:22โ€“24)
Preacher: Rev Lekan Adeyi

Today was a beautiful and memorable service as we not only reflected on spiritual maturity, but also celebrated our graduating Sunbeams โ€” our precious children (ages 1โ€“10) stepping into a new level of growth. ๐ŸŽ‰

Just as we honored their transition, we were reminded that growth is Godโ€™s expectation for every believer.

Spiritual maturity is not measured by titles or activity, but by character โ€” the life of Christ formed in us.

โœจ A mature Christian:

- Reflects Christโ€™s character
- Is led by the Spirit, not the flesh
- Lives a stable, obedient, and consistent life

๐Ÿ‡ The Fruit of the Spirit is revealed in:

- Godward traits: Love, Joy, Peace
- Relational traits: Patience, Kindness, Goodness
- Personal discipline: Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-control

๐Ÿ“Œ Just like our Sunbeams are growing into a new stage, we also must grow by:

- Abiding in Christ
- Walking daily in the Spirit
- Feeding on Godโ€™s Word and prayer
- Living in obedience

๐Ÿ”ฅ Key Truth:
No death to the flesh, no growth in the Spirit.

๐Ÿ™ Reflection:
Which fruit is lacking in your life? Are you truly Spirit-led?

๐Ÿ’ก Call to Action:
Surrender daily, yield to the Spirit, and live intentionally.

โžก๏ธ A mature believer is not just one who knows Christ, but one who reflects Him consistently.

๐ŸŽ“ Congratulations to our graduating Sunbeams! We celebrate your growth and pray for greater heights in your journey with God.

HOME MISSION EMPHASIS 2026 โ€“ ENTERING INTO NEWNESS

Today we were reminded of God's heartbeat for the nations during our Home Mission Emphasis Service themed:

" Entering into Newness: Reaching the Unreached through the Power of the Holy Spirit.โ€

Text: Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4b,8

Preacher: Rev'd Lekan Adeyi

The mission of the Church is clear: to take the Gospel to those who have not yet heard. Across Nigeria and beyond, God is already at work through mission fields and Schools of Missions where lives are being transformed daily.

Through the dedication of missionaries and the support of believers:

โ€ข Thousands of people have been reached with the Gospel
โ€ข Many have surrendered their lives to Christ
โ€ข New churches are being planted in communities
โ€ข Indigenous pastors and evangelists are being trained
โ€ข Mission schools are raising the next generation of missionaries

However, the work is far from finished. Many communities still struggle with idolatry, syncretism, spiritual darkness, poverty, and lack of access to the Gospel.

This is why the Church is called to respond.

How can we be part of this mission?

๐Ÿ™ Pray for missionaries, new converts, and unreached communities.
๐Ÿค Partner with the mission work and support those on the field.
๐Ÿ’ Give towards mission projects and missionary needs.
๐Ÿšถ Go or Visit mission fields when the opportunity arises.

The call of God still echoes today:

"While the lost of the earth are dying, the Master calls for you."

Together, as one united body, we can transform nations through the power of the Holy Spirit and take the Gospel to Nigeria, Africa, and the ends of the earth.

The mission continuesโ€ฆ and God is inviting you to be part of it.

Happy Sunday to you family

Happy New Month Family ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‰โค๏ธ

It's our month of divine encounters. May you experience an unforgettable encoubtabls with the Lord this month in Jesus Name.

It's our Special Jubilation Service today

Topic: Time to Celebrate Godโ€™s Goodness
Text: Psalm 66:1โ€“15
Ministering: Rev. [Dr] Asafa Elijah (Rtd)

Notes Taken
Ungrateful hearts grieve God.
We celebrate to announce to the world that God has been good to us.

Reasons to celebrate God includes:

His power breaks chains
His power opens doors
His power Protects us
His power Provides for us
Godโ€™s goodness and purpose over our lives.

Key Lessons:
We must celebrate God because:
What you are passing through has a purpose.
Goodness of His providence in our lives (vs 10โ€“11).
Through preservation in pain and purpose.

It was a pleasure to have Rev {Dr} Asafa worship with us today. We had a splendid time in the presence of God and we pray the Lord continually blesses him In Jesus Name

Happy New Month once again ๐ŸŽŠ๐ŸŽ‰

Sunday 25th January 2026
It's the WMU Focus Week and we celebrate all mothers

Theme: Entering into newness through the fruit of the Spirit
Scripture: Acts 1:8; Jn 4:23โ€“18โ€“19
Minister: Rev'd Lekan Adeyi

To access newness, empowerment is required. God calls women and families into spiritual, moral, emotional, and Holy Spirit empowerment through a life of prayer, godly living, and total dependence on Him.
True newness begins when we leave old patterns, embrace Christ-centred homes, restore the family altar, forgive past hurts, and allow the fruit of the Spirit to shape our relationships. As women, wives, and mothers, we are empowered to nurture godly families, embrace positive change, and lead our homes into Godโ€™s purpose for a new season.
๐Ÿ“– Acts 1:8 | Romans 12:2

We wish all Family a Happy Women's Focus week.
