*TEXT: COLOSSIANS 3:16*

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Someone said "Home is always close, even when life takes us away. When my mom sold our childhood home, I felt like I lost a friend." But I've come to realize home is in our hearts. God's Word can be a home too. Let it dwell in us richly, a refuge and sanctuary from the world. We can know it like the back of our hand, and find comfort in its promises.

PRAY: Heavenly Father, help me to become familiar with Your Word. I want to feel comfortable and at ease when I read Scripture, as if I'm in my own home. Guide me in understanding and applying Your truth to my life.

But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

We are called to show God's love to those around us, especially those who are struggling. We can't always find the right words to make them feel better, but we can show them kindness and compassion. Let us be a source of comfort and support, and demonstrate God's love through our actions. (1 John 4:8)

PRAY: Lord, grant me the courage and wisdom to minister to a friend in need with love. Help me to approach them in a way that will get their attention and provide for me to help meet their needs. May your name be glorified in all I do. Amen.

'Every one of you shall revere his mother and his father, and keep My Sabbath: I am the Lord your God.

My Dad who I found to call GRANDPA is alive, He taught us to trust God and gave us courage to face life. He was a fighter and a loving, supportive dad. He cooked, cared, and he always there. He's still cheering us on. We are not alone and forever grateful for his legacy.

PRAY: Heavenly Father, we thank You for our earthly parents and all that they have done for us, both successes and failures. We are grateful for Your perfect example of parenthood and for the love and guidance You provide. Amen.

Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.

Doing what is right brings salvation. We all make mistakes, but God is always merciful. Be mindful of your actions so you don't cause harm. At work and school, strive to do what honors God. Make choices that bring glory to Him.

PRAY: I come to You, Lord, asking for Your guidance. Scripture says that sin is doing the wrong thing, and I want to make things right with You. I don't know how to do this, so I ask for Your help. Please show me the way and help me to do what is right. If I'm doing something that appears to be wrong, Lord, help me to stop. Amen.

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.

Jesus showed us how to love: forgive, weep, and bring joy. At Christmas, we celebrate God's love for us, taking away our sorrows and sin. Through Jesus, we find grace, forgiveness, and compassion. He invites us to serve and share his message of peace.

PRAY: Lord Jesus, your love for me was unconditional, even when I was undeserving. May I reflect your compassion in my actions and words, and help others in the same way you have helped me. Guide me to be a blessing to those around me. Amen.

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
O Lord , my strength and my Redeemer.

Let us use our words to bring light and love, just as Jesus did. He offered comfort, forgiveness, peace, and hope. Let us share the good news and bring faith and life to those around us.

PRAY: O God, help us to speak in a way that reflects our faith in Jesus. May our words be a witness to others of our commitment to Him. We pray as Jesus taught us: "Our Father in heaven, may Your name be honored, Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today what we need for this day. Forgive us our debts, as we have also forgiven those who owe us. And don't let us be tempted, but save us from the evil one." Amen.
