2 Corinthians 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
It takes knowledge of the Word, Jesus Christ to worship and fellowship with God. If we comprehend, fully understood and Spiritualized the Word, quickened by the Word, there would not be need for religious exercises. Praying without knowledge of the Word is religious exercises because we do not know the God we are praying to.
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
2 Peter 1:5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; 1:6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; 1:7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. 1:8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1:9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
Acts 17:23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.
God had given us all things pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Christ Jesus. It is not about praying to receive but knowing we have them already and are intentionally determined to exercise faith to appropriate them. We cannot pray for what we already have: it is foolishness and sin.
2 Peter 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
Jesus Christ said to the woman: John 4:10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
Jesus Christ wept not because Lazarus died but because of unbelief. He said to Nicodemus when he sought to know how to be born again: John 3:10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? 3:11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. 3:12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Belief in Jesus Christ is to absolutely know Him by His knowledge, by His Word and Spirit intimations without questioning or doubts in heart. We do not pray for material things: we pray to understand the essence of belief and faith, as the Holy Spirit would teach, guide and direct on how to pray. He imputed His Word and Spirit into us to believe in Him. Have we not heard about Him? Yes. His knowledge is preached but many would choose to follow their pernicious ways to compromise the Truth, the Way and the Life, Jesus Christ.
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. 10:18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world. 10:21 But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.
We do not have to seek Jesus Christ in mountains, valleys or religious places or churches. Seek Him by faith by the knowledge of His Word and Spirit, brooding in your heart. Believe is in the heart and the mouth declares it. Your conduct and ways express your belief. We know we are Christ Jesus because His Spirit ministers to us to teach, direct and guide into all truth.
Romans 10:6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) 10:7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
We received from God because we know the truth: "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." We are destroyed for lack of knowledge of Christ Jesus. We do not have to pray for the secondary things of life. We pray for our hearts to be enlightened by the knowledge of Christ Jesus in wisdom, and revelation of Him in us.
Ephesians 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
Colossians 1:9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
Children cry for food. An adult who cries for food is not wise: he lacks understanding of how to get it. Build up your heart to know and have the Mind of Christ Jesus. At Lazarus grave He said, I knew You (God) heard Me already. Same Holy Spirit is in us. Refuse to pray for material things. They are already yours. Believe and thank God for them to be appropriated. Know Jesus Christ as spirit because He is Spirit. Let us move to eat the hard meat of the Word, not the milk. Knowledge of Christ Jesus distinguishes. We know our levels of faith by our prayers.
Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
2 Corinthians 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
1 Corinthians 3:2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
Hebrews 5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
Our prayers reflect our understanding of the knowledge of the Word and Spirit of Jesus Christ in us. Prayer is ineffective without the knowledge of Christ Jesus with which it is Spiritualized and communicated in faith to Him. We receive answers in heart from the Holy Spirit. We cannot change the predestinied purpose of God concerning us but can pray for grace to understand the mysteries revealed or outcomes. Most of our prayers are meaningless words in the spirit realms because they talk to and are about our flesh. Say Amen to what your heart says and agreed to by the Word and Spirit of God in you.
John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
James 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
Any prayer that focused on the secondary things of life and not the mission and purpose of Christ Jesus; the spirit of life in Christ Jesus, is meaningless and empty. Stop praying for what He had already freely given. Pray to ask for grace, to know Him, the power of His Word and Spirit, and to conform to His Nature and Personality. We are frustrated in our belief in Christ Jesus because we do not know Him in Spirit and in Truth.
Ephesians 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
My Father and my God I want to know You by Your Word and Spirit intimations. Help me Lord. In Jesus mighty name.
Philippians 3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; 3:11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
Thank You Lord Jesus Christ. Amen and Amen.
