Praise is a weapon of contineous victories in warfare, David is man that enjoyed victories throughout his reign as a king, his secret is written in the book of 2 Sam 6:21-22
21 And David said unto Michal, It was before the LORD, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over the people of the LORD, over Israel: therefore will I play before the LORD.
22 And I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be base in mine own sight: and of the maidservants which thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honour KJV.

First of all David have the understanding of his God in verse 21, 'It was before the LORD, which chose me before thy father, and before all his house, to appoint me ruler over His people'.
In the book of Dan 11:32
32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.
You most praise God with understanding of who He is and what He has done in your life.

Secondly He made himself of no reputation in praise before God in verse 22 of 2 Sam 6 'And I will yet be more vile than thus, and will be base in mine own sight: and of the maidservants which thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honour' KJV.

Phil 2:7-11
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
One thing you should know is that God only use the base things to confound 1 Cor 1:27-28
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

One thing you should know is that God only use the base things to confound the wise 1 Cor 1:27-28
27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
KJV
To see victories in all area of your life give God thanks with understanding and remember to make yourself base (i.e of no reputation)
