John 12:24 (KJV) Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

📢 Massage 📢

Jesus was the "corn of wheat" that died that he might bring forth much fruit to God, bringing many Sons and Daughters to Glory. But believers can also be like Him in this. First, because "the Blood of the martyrs is the seed of the Church. " But second, because when we die to self and live for God, it can be used of God in winning souls to Him.

Help me, Lord, to die to self that I might live to You. Let me be a light to others who do not know You, to witness to them Your Gospel, and to those who do know You, to encourage them to press on living for You. In Jesus Christ Mighty Name, Amen.

Earthly treasures decay and are vulnerable to be stolen. Men expend great effort and invest large sums to protect their earthly possessions, but they cannot guarantee their security. And ultimately, they must leave them behind. When we serve God, our reward of Heavenly treasure is locked up, as it were, in an impregnable fortress, and it will never decay nor fade.

🙏 Prayer 🙏

Fix our thoughts, O God, on the pursuit of Holiness, of Your Kingdom, and of Your Glory. And in as much we labor for treasures, let it be for Heavenly, Eternal treasures; not for earthly, temporary things. Let us use the things of this world as we need and in Your service, but let our whole purpose be directed to things above. In Jesus Christ Mighty Name, Amen.

When the commands of men, even of those in governmental or religious authority positions, conflict with the commands of God, we must obey God and not men. While Christians are supposed to submit to legitimate governmental authorities, they are instructed to practice "civil disobedience" if a law of man tells them to violate a law of God.

🙏 Prayer 🙏

Lord, let us not be such as rebel against governments which You have ordained and pridefully say that we have no obligation to submit to man's laws. For there is no power but of God, and the powers that be are ordained of God (Romans 13). But let us also have courage to stand firm and resist if we are forced to choose between obeying You and obeying mere men. In Jesus Christ Mighty Name, Amen.

Luke 5:18 (KJV) And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.

Here we have five men of faith, the man who lay crippled on the cot and the four men who carried him to Jesus. Unable to reach Jesus due to the great crowds that had come to hear him, they opened up the roof and lowered him down. They knew Jesus had the power to heal their friend and would stop at nothing if they could only get him to Him.
This is faith like no other, can you do anything to get God's attention?

Lord Jesus let us learn from the good examples in your Word, Lord, including these men of faith who used every means possible to bring this man to You to be healed. We cannot make men come to You spiritually, but let us endeavor to pray for their salvation and to speak to them and invite them earnestly to come to You for spiritual healing and deliverance. In Jesus Christ Mighty Name, Amen.

Moses reminds the nation Israel here in Deuteronomy, just before they entered the promised land, of the 10 Commandments they received from God when they stood before Mount Sinai. The first of those commandments was that He, the only true God and the God who saved them out of slavery in Egypt, must be the only God they worship.

🙏 Prayer 🙏

You, Lord, are our God and our Savior. You brought us up out of slavery and out of sin in the world. You alone must be first in our hearts. We cannot serve You and Money. We cannot serve You and worldly pleasures. We cannot make another god stand beside You and be true worshippers of You. Help us to dedicate ourselves fully to You, Lord, that we be not double-minded or double-hearted. In Jesus Christ Mighty Name, Amen.

When we preach the Word of God, we should understand that we are no ordinary Men but the Oracles of God. God Has separated Some Men and Women full of The Holy Spirit to serve in His vain yard or Churches as His Oracles here on earth, His written Word is there guide, which is the very Words of God.

Speak, Lord, through Your Word and Servants to me and to all Your Church. Speak to this generation, which has become so wise in its own eyes, and humble us. Here we see a great truth about the acquisition of Christlikeness by the believer. He beholds, contemplates, sees by faith the glory of Christ. And where is that found? It is found in God's Word! And beholding the glory of Jesus Christ, He is changed little by little into His image. But not automatically, but by the Spirit of God.

🙏 Prayer 🙏

Help us to think and dwell on the Glory of Christ, O Lord. Help us to see it in Your Word and to see it with the eye of faith. Change us from "Glory to Glory" by Your Spirit, in the way that Paul refers to in this precious and powerful verse. In Jesus Christ Mighty Name, Amen.

Jesus is coming again. He shall appear with great Glory when He returns to reign on the earth, and all of His Glorified saints will come with Him. Christ is the source and sustainer of our life with God, and He ought also be the center of our affections (Colossians 3:2) and desires rather than earthly, temporary things.

Help us to turn our thoughts to eternal things, to spiritual things, to the things of Christ, Oh God. The natural Man does not like to think of God, or at least, not of the true God as He really is. Our minds needs renewing as well as redirecting, Oh Lord. Turn us, Oh Lord, and we shall be turned. We hunger and thirst for Your righteousness, and we know You will satisfy that hunger and thirst which You Yourself have created in us. In Jesus Christ Mighty Name, Amen.

Joel 2:13 (KJV) And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

It is not enough to simply tear one's garments or perform some other outward act meant to indicate repentance. Repentance must be from the heart. God is merciful and will turn from the judgment He would have sent if a people truly turn from their iniquities. Whether that people be in Israel, Nineveh, or Your own home country, the same principle applies. Our God is a Merciful God.

Oh God, You are the seer of hearts and the weigher of motives. You do not overlook anyone who turns from their old ways in true contrition; nor are You ever fooled by even the most elaborate outward show. God created a near-endless variety of creatures to inhabit the land, sea, and air and gave them remarkable abilities. But only Man was created in the image and likeness of God. Adam and Eve were the climax of the 6-day creation week and were put over all the other creatures as a kind of "vice regent" under God. This image of God in Man included basic faculties of the sould, as intellect, emotion, and will; but its chief Glory was Holiness, which was lost when Man fell into sin.

Oh Creator God, You created us in Your image, capable of having fellowship with You. You made our first parents upright, but they rebelled against You and brought death on us all. We were born in the likeness of fallen Adam, but You have called us be made again into the likeness of Your Son. Give us a vision of Christ to which we can aspire, and change us by Your Grace from Glory to Glory. In Jesus Christ Mighty Name, Amen.

Colossians 1:13-14 (KJV) Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

Paul gives thanks to God the Father (verse 12) for delivering us from the power of darkness and moving us into the realm of light, which is the Kingdom of Christ and of God. But even now it is here in a "hidden" sense in the form The Church, being present. Satan's kingdom also is here in this world, and it is a kingdom of darkness and sin. Only God's power could overcome the "power of darkness" and make us children of light.

🙏 Prayer 🙏

We give thanks to You, Oh Father, along with Paul for transferring us from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light. You have made us to be a light to the world, insofar as Your light is in us and shines out from us. Help us to walk as children of light and to overcome the surrounding darkness of this present age.
