The Gospel, Partners, and secret disciples:
We read of the miracles, desire them, fast and pray, and hope to press into the supernatural.
We long to walk in the ways of the Spirit and do the impossible.
Well, let me disappoint you. You won't!
Wait!
Before you start jumping and calling me an Antichrist, let me ask you something;
Haven't you noticed that you are a faucet instead of a stream? You manifest when the worship is high, or when you return from a prolonged fast, or when you have a "leading."
The supernatural is not natural to you.
I am sure you also have some scripture to back you up in days when you lay hands on the sick and nothing happens...
Oh, and you also can't seem to go beyond the tongues into interpreting it and you feel it's normal, who's fooling who here?
Our problem is that we have not balanced the Gosels.
There is the "Good news," and it's "Sponsors."
You can't have all the thinking in the world and expect to preach Good News.
Oh but you're not a preacher...
You must be on one side of his tripod. A Preacher, a Sponsor or a Disciple (who is either secret or open).
We all know how beautiful the feet of the preacher is, but do you know that without their support (financial and substance), the preacher's feet won't be loveable?
We know that the preacher is a bringer of good news. But do you know that without disciples, his work will die after he's gone?
Sorry if you still don't understand my point.
You want a preacher to keep rolling out "Spirit-inspired messages" but his basic needs are distracting him from study and prayers.
You want him to be a "life wire" of spiritual realities, but he has to work under a boss that insults and abuse him everyday.
At this point, you are probably going... Well, he's not crippled; let him work!
But did you know that to leave all and follow Christ is a sacrifice only very few can ever do?
Jesus Christ had a group of people who took on ministry and evangelistic campaign sponsorship. They knew that the gospel must spread, so they gave their best, paid for his trips, kept him at inns, and sponsored his feeding along with that of the 12.
You don't believe me? Read Luke 8:1-3.
The pastor has touched their lives, so they didn't keep him as a house pet but ensured his voice was heard in the towns and villages.
John 3 holds a very interesting account of a disciple who wasn't numbered with the twelve but was a defender of the Way in the courts. We need men who know the law and who can give us legal backing when needs arise.
There was a Joseph who donated his tomb for Jesus' burial; he was a secret disciple.
Who are you?
What have you done in the last 30 days to spread this truth?
You can share, but you won't.
You can comment or encourage the preacher, but you won't.
You can sponsor the spread of the truth, but you won't.
You can connect the preacher for a meeting, but you won't.
Why? Because you want a house pet.
You like to listen, use what you have heard as your keynote, and speak like the man of God... 😁
It's OK, even Jesus and Paul had men in their day who did this.
Today, I am calling on you to sponsor a preacher, promote a voice, spread the truth, and help nations come to the knowledge of Christ.
I remain Your Brother.
Apostle Osam Nsa.
