HAPPY 76TH BIRTHDAY, OUR DEAR FATHER & SHEPHERD!
To our beloved Bishop, Most Rev. Dr. Martin Igwe Uzoukwu,
Catholic Bishop of Minna Diocese,
Today, the youth of Minna Diocese join the whole family of God in raising our hearts in joyful thanksgiving to God for the precious gift of your life, your vocation, and your years of loving service to the Church.
76 years of life is 76 years of God's faithfulness!
And for us, your children and the young people of this Diocese, it is also 76 years of a life that reminds us that faith can be lived with courage, leadership can be exercised with humility, and service can be offered with love.
Your Lordship, you have been more than a Bishop to us. You are our father, shepherd, encourager, teacher, and a voice that constantly reminds us that the Church has a place for every young person. Through your pastoral care, prayers, guidance and concern for the youth, you have helped us understand that we are not merely the future of the Church; we are the Church today.
As young people, we are grateful for every time you have believed in us, listened to us, encouraged us and challenged us to become better disciples of Christ. Your life and ministry continue to inspire us to dream boldly, serve selflessly, love deeply and keep Christ at the centre of our lives.
On this beautiful 76th birthday, we pray that the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ, whom you have faithfully served, will continue to renew your strength, enlarge your joy and surround you with His peace. May He bless you with good health, wisdom, grace, courage and many more fruitful years in His vineyard.
May the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church, continually intercede for you. May the Holy Spirit guide every step of your episcopal ministry, and may every seed of faith, love and hope you have planted in the hearts of God's people return to you a hundredfold and May the Divine Mercy Incarnate who you're an ambassador for grants you abundance of Mercy.
Your Lordship, today we celebrate YOU! ♥️

We celebrate your vocation.
We celebrate your fatherhood.
We celebrate your sacrificial service.
We celebrate the gift you are to Minna Diocese and to the Church.
