THE SPIRITUAL STRENGTH OF A CHRISTIAN CONSISTORY'S RESIDENT PASTOR IS EMBEDDED IN THE DELIBERATE SUPPORTIVE EFFORTS OF A VIRTUOUS WIFE: “A Birthday Tribute to Atese Doocivir Rhoda Kwen”.
"An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels". Proverbs 31:10.

The Holy Scriptures consistently affirm the indispensable role of a virtuous and godly wife in the fulfillment of God's purpose within the family, the Church, and society. Among the exemplary women recorded in the Bible stands Priscilla, whose unwavering support, spiritual wisdom, and commitment to Kingdom service complemented the ministry of her husband, Aquila, making them effective instruments in the advancement of the Gospel (Acts 18:24–26). Likewise, the noble woman described in Proverbs 31 remains a timeless model of faithfulness, diligence, wisdom, and devotion.
It is within this biblical context that the entire NKST Idye Consistory, Makurdi, with profound gratitude to God, joyfully celebrates the birthday of our beloved Spiritual Mother, Atese Doocivir Rhoda Kwen, a woman whose life exemplifies Christian virtue, humility, sacrificial service, and steadfast commitment to the work of God.
This auspicious occasion provides an opportunity for the Church to acknowledge and appreciate the invaluable contributions of a woman who has consistently demonstrated unwavering dedication to the growth of Christ's Kingdom. Through her fervent prayers, wise counsel, compassionate disposition, and tireless support, she has remained a dependable pillar of strength and encouragement to her husband, Revr. Engr. Bismarck Kuhwa Kwen, Resident Pastor of NKST Idye Consistory.
As Revr. Kwen continues to lead the flock of God through sound biblical teaching, spiritual nurturing, moral guidance, impactful community engagement, and remarkable infrastructural development within and beyond the Church, Atese Rhoda Kwen has remained an indispensable partner in ministry. Her quiet but profound influence has contributed immensely to the effectiveness of this noble calling.
Her exemplary Christian character, motherly affection, hospitality, devotion to service, and commitment to the welfare of God's people have earned her the admiration and respect of the congregation and the wider Christian community.
