Absolute confidence in the finished work of Christ is called the Assurance of Salvation.

The Assurance of Salvation is not a feeling; it is a knowing.

It is a deep-rooted conviction that my sins have been washed away by the blood of Jesus. It is the rest and confidence I have in knowing that God's redemptive plan is complete, perfect, and sure.

When you give your life to Christ, something supernatural happens.
Your sins are remitted.
Your spirit is recreated.
You are justified.
You are sealed with the Holy Spirit.
And you receive eternal life.

These are not feelings that come and go with your emotions. They are realities established by the finished work of Christ.

So, the assurance of salvation is the confident knowing that I belong to Christ, my sins have been forgiven, and God's work of redemption in me is sure.

My confidence is not in how I feel today.

My confidence is in what Christ has already done.
I am saved because Christ has finished the work.

That is the Assurance of Salvation.

Blessings!

If somebody walks out of that door and there are gunmen waiting to kill them, how many people here would be comfortable keeping their mouths shut and allowing that person to walk out?

How many people think that if somebody allows that to happen, that person is worse than the gunmen? Because you empowered the gunmen.

So, why are we not sharing the Gospel if we know that when people check out of this world without Jesus, they are eternally damned?

Eternity is not ten billion years, my friends. Even a hundred billion years would be like a second compared to eternity. And they have eternity to spend in torment and damnation.

I think I showed us a clip sometime ago from an atheist who said, “If I were a Christian, there is no way I would not be an evangelist, because the claim that once you miss Jesus, you are eternally damned, would make me restless.”

An atheist with a conscience!

Some of you have brothers who are not saved. You have sisters who are not saved. You have parents who are not saved, and you are not disturbed?

Do you understand the Gospel?

If you can't convince them, then you have to stay in the place of prayer.

WHEN FAITH REACHES FOR JESUS

There are moments when life becomes so heavy that we feel like we have no strength left. We pray, we cry, we struggle, and sometimes we wonder if God still sees us.

But this image reminds us of a powerful truth: Jesus is never too far away from the person who reaches for Him in faith.

The woman who reached for the hem of Jesus’ garment did not need a long speech. She simply believed that even touching His garment would be enough. Her faith reached beyond her fear, beyond her pain, and beyond what seemed impossible.

Sometimes, all you can do is reach.

Reach for Jesus when you are tired.
Reach for Him when your heart is broken.
Reach for Him when your prayers seem unanswered.
Reach for Him when people have given up on you.
Reach for Him when you feel like there is no way out.

Your situation may be impossible for you, but it is never impossible for God.

Jesus is still our healer.
Jesus is still our deliverer.
Jesus is still our hope.
Jesus is still our refuge.
Jesus is still able to change what seems impossible.

Do not let your circumstances convince you that God has forgotten you. Keep believing. Keep praying. Keep reaching.

The same Jesus who responded to faith then is still worthy of our faith today.

🙏 If you believe Jesus is still your answer, don't give up. Reach for Him in faith.

"Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole." — Matthew 9:22

KEEP YOUR FAITH. JESUS IS NEAR. ❤️‍🔥🙏

DON’T BECOME A STRANGER TO THE PEOPLE WHO LOVE YOU MOST

There was a point in my life when I used to see my mom and my siblings only once or twice a year because of my schedule. We have a gathering every first of January where we come together as a family just to pray. So in 2014, my mom made a statement that made me go back and cry. She said, “Apostle, we love you, and we know that you are blessing people around the world, but sometimes we have problems too. We want you to also prophesy to us, to pray for us, and to be there for us. You are blessing the whole world, but if anything goes wrong in your life, we are the people left to love and honour you.”

I laughed about it, but when I went back, I cried because it was so true.

The same people who love you today are the same people who will love you even when you have nothing to offer. They are the people who will be there for you through thick and thin. From that day, I made up my mind that I was going to strengthen my relationship with my family. I decided that I would go out of my way to see how I could bless them and be there for them.

In all my adulthood and ministry, I don't think I have had one month just for myself.

Sometimes, in the pursuit of purpose, ministry, career, or success, we can become so busy helping everyone else that we forget the people God has placed closest to us. You must learn to value your family. Don't wait until there is a crisis before you realise the importance of the people who have stood with you.

Your family may not always understand everything you do, but they are often the people who will remain when many others have moved on. Make time for them. Pray for them. Honour them. Celebrate them. Be present in their lives.

Never become so successful outside that you become a stranger to the people who love you at home. There is a kind of blessing that money cannot buy, the blessing of having people who genuinely love you, stand with you, and are there for you in every season.

As you pursue your assignment and fulfil your purpose, remember that family is also part of the stewardship God has committed to you. Don't lose what matters most while pursuing what appears important.

MOST PEOPLE DON’T KNOW THIS — APOSTLE JOSHUA SELMAN

Years ago, I used to feel guilty. People would tell me, “Apostle, remember that you were sent to us. Remember that God sent you to us.” And I would feel guilty, tired and sleepy. People would sleep, rest, and come to me, telling me that they needed counselling. And I had told them that God sent me to them.

No matter how great you are, no matter how transformed you are, no matter how blessed you are, days will come in your life when your humanity will have to find expression.

Maybe you may lose a loved one, and for the first time, when you find people in that state, you won't say, “Where is your God?” You will hold their hands, and as you cry with them, let them know that they will be alright. That's the definition of compassion.

There is a place for strength, but there is also a place for compassion. Being a spiritual person does not mean that you become disconnected from the realities of life or from the emotions of people around you. There will be moments when people are hurting, grieving, confused, or going through difficult seasons, and what they need from you may not be another sermon or an explanation. Sometimes, they simply need someone who can sit with them, hold their hands, listen to them, and cry with them.

You must understand that your humanity is not a weakness. There are moments when you will be tired, moments when you will need to rest, and moments when you will also need people to stand with you. Even Jesus wept when He saw the pain of those who were grieving. Compassion is not about having all the answers; it is about being present with people in their moments of pain.

What if the miracle was never about the mud—it was always about the One who commanded it?

Sometimes, we focus so much on the method that we forget the power behind the miracle. The blind man received mud upon his eyes, but the mud itself had no power to give him sight. His healing came because Jesus was the One who touched him, commanded him, and restored what he could not restore by himself.

There are moments when God may ask us to do something that seems simple, strange, or even impossible to understand. Yet obedience is not about understanding every detail—it is about trusting the One who gave the instruction.

The miracle is not in the mud.
The miracle is not in the method.
The miracle is in Jesus.

Maybe you are facing something today that you cannot fix with your own strength. Maybe you have prayed and wondered why God is doing things differently from what you expected. Remember: God does not need our understanding before He can work. He asks for our faith and obedience.

What looks ordinary in your hands can become extraordinary when placed under God's authority.

Don't worship the method.
Don't put your faith in the process.
Don't forget the One behind the blessing.

Trust Jesus. Obey His Word. Keep believing.

Because when Jesus is involved, what seems impossible can become a testimony of His power.

📖 Mark 8:23–25

The mud wasn't the miracle. Jesus was.

"HEAR WHAT APOSTLE JOSHUA SELMAN SAID ABOUT MICHAEL JACKSON"

Let me ask you a question, Imagine for instance that Michael Jackson before he died said "Jesus is lord"

Do you know even if it was a mistake, he will win more souls than most crusades at once? Why because a man of influence spoke!

Do not undermine the power of influence!

Influence is not just a carnal search for fame as many see it,

As believers we must rise above the status quo and contend for influence that is motivated by true passion to see Jesus glorified in all spheres of life!

There are some things God will not reveal to you because you are not yet in a position of influence to effectively enforce such instructions!
