TOPIC ✍🏽: PRAY FOR YOUR FAMILY

MEMORY VERSE 📖: Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5:16

One evening, Daniel noticed that his little sister was not feeling well. Instead of saying, “That’s her problem,” he knelt beside her bed and prayed, “Jesus, please make my sister well.”

The next morning, he helped Mum prepare breakfast and even packed his sister’s school bag. He wasn’t looking for a reward. He simply wanted to help.

Later, Mum smiled and said, “Daniel, you are becoming a blessing to this family!”

Sometimes, we think only about what people can do for us. But God wants us to learn to pray for our family, help them, serve them and care for them, even when we are not getting anything in return.

Jesus showed us what real love looks like. Love does not always ask, “What will I get?” Love asks, “How can I help?”

REMEMBER ⭐: Your family needs your prayers, your kindness and your helping hands. You can be a blessing right where you are!

PRAYER:
Dear Jesus, help me to love my family without being selfish. Teach me to pray for them, help them and serve them with a joyful heart. Make me a blessing to my family in Jesus Name. Amen 🙏🏽.

CONFIDENCE IN GOD'S LEADING

"I will go before you and make the rough places smooth; I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through their iron bars". Isaiah 45:2

There are seasons when the road ahead looks uncertain, the opposition feels strong, and you cannot see how the battle will end. But you do not walk by what you see; but by confidence in the One who goes before you.

God always goes before you as your Guide, stands beside you as your Protector, and speaks His Word as your weapon.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” He said in Psalm 46:10

Be still, not because there is no battle, but because the One who leads you is greater than any battle.

Your victory is not in the strength of your voice, your human wisdom, or your ability to fight every battle. It is in the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God (Ephesians 6:17). When God has spoken, stand on His Word. When you pray and receive His direction, move with confidence. What He says becomes your battle cry.

Jesus defeated the enemy with “It is written.” You too can overcome by knowing what God has said and declaring it in faith.

Do not fear the crooked road. Trust the One who is already ahead of you.
If God is leading you, you are not lost.
If God is protecting you, you are not helpless.
If God has spoken, you have a Word to stand on.

Have confidence in God's leading.

PRAYER:
Father, help me to trust Your leading even when I cannot see the way. Make every crooked path straight before me. Teach me to be still, hear Your voice, and stand firmly upon Your Word. May I overcome every battle through the sword of the Spirit and the confidence that You are with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen 🙏🏽

TOPIC ✍🏽: SING YOUR PRAISE 🎶

MEMORY VERSE 📖: “This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10b

One morning, Daniel woke up and discovered that his favourite toy was broken. He felt sad and wanted to cry.

But instead of complaining, he remembered what his mother always told him: “God is still good, even when things don't go your way.”

Daniel began to sing:

“Thank You, Jesus, You are good!
Thank You, Jesus, You are kind!”

As he sang, something changed. His problem had not disappeared, but joy filled his heart. Daniel remembered that God was with him, and that gave him strength.

The Bible tells us about Paul and Silas. They were beaten and thrown into prison, but at midnight they prayed and sang praises to God (Acts 16:25). Then God shook the prison, and their chains were broken!

Children, praise is not only for when everything is perfect. We praise God because He is God, whether we are happy, waiting, hurting, or celebrating.

When you sing praises, you remind your heart that God is bigger than your problem.

So, when things go well—sing!
When things are difficult—sing!
When you are waiting—sing!
When you are afraid—sing!

Let your little heart become a place where God's joy lives. And many others can experience God's love and joy through you.

🌟 REMEMBER: Praise changes our focus from our problems to our powerful God!

PRAYER:
Jesus, fill my heart with Your joy. Help me to praise You in every situation because You are always good. Let my songs bring glory to Your name. In Jesus Name, Amen.

IT TAKES A VILLAGE

“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.”
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

There is a reason the African proverb says, “It takes a village to raise a child.” No child grows well in isolation. Behind every strong person is often a community of people who taught, corrected, encouraged, protected, prayed, and stood with them.

The same is true in the Kingdom of God and in society.

Great things are rarely accomplished by one person alone. A vision may begin in the heart of one person, but its fulfilment often requires the hands, gifts, wisdom, prayers and commitment of many.

The Bible says, “One can chase a thousand, and two can put ten thousand to flight.” (Deuteronomy 32:30). Notice the multiplication that happens when people unite.

Jesus Himself prayed that His followers would be one, because unity gives strength and becomes a testimony to the world (John 17:21).

The early Church understood this. They shared, prayed, served and carried one another. “And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul.” (Acts 4:32).

Unity does not mean everyone is identical. We have different gifts, personalities, experiences and assignments. Unity means we bring our differences together for a common purpose.

A rope becomes strong because several strands are woven together. Ecclesiastes 4:12 says, “A threefold cord is not quickly broken.”

Imagine what could happen when families choose unity, when churches refuse unnecessary division, when communities protect one another, when colleagues work together instead of competing destructively, and when citizens recognise that the wellbeing of one person can affect the wellbeing of all.

Stop asking, “What can I achieve alone?” Ask, “What can we accomplish together?”

Be the person who builds bridges, not walls. Be willing to listen, cooperate, forgive, support and carry another when they are weak. Celebrate the success of others. Make room for other people's gifts. Sometimes your greatest contribution is not being at the front, but helping someone else succeed.

Let us therefore choose unity, not because we have no differences, but because the purpose is greater than our differences.

PRAYER:
Father, teach us to walk in love, humility and unity. Deliver us from selfishness, jealousy, unnecessary strife and division. Help us recognise that we need one another. Make our families, churches and communities places where people build, strengthen and carry one another. Unite our hearts around purposes that glorify You and bless humanity. In Jesus’ name, Amen 🙏🏽.

TITLE ✍🏽: LITTLE STEPS, GREAT CHAMPIONS

MEMORY VERSE 📖 “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest.” Galatians 6:9

Every morning, Daniel watched his older brother practise football. His brother was not the fastest player, but he never missed his practice.

One day Daniel asked, “Why do you practise even when nobody is watching?”

His brother smiled and said, “Champions are not made by what they do once in a while. They are built by what they keep doing.”

Daniel remembered those words. He began practising his reading every day, helping at home, praying, and doing his schoolwork, even when he didn't feel like it.

Months later, Daniel stood on his school’s stage to receive an award.

His teacher said, “Daniel didn't become excellent overnight. He became excellent one consistent day at a time.”

LESSON ⭐: Children, consistency means keeping on doing what is right, even when you don't feel like it and nobody is watching.

Great leaders are built through small, faithful habits.

Don't despise small beginnings. Your consistent little steps today may be building the champion and leader you will become tomorrow!

PRAYER:
Dear Jesus, help me to be consistent in doing what is right. Teach me not to give up, even when it is difficult. Help me grow into a faithful and excellent person. In Jesus Name 🙏🏽

COURAGE, CONFIDENCE & FAITH - The Character of an Overcomer

Beloved, fear may knock at your door, but as an overcomer, refuse to give it a seat.

An overcomer is not someone who never feels afraid; it is someone who refuses to let fear make the decisions. When circumstances say, “You cannot,” faith responds, “God can.” When the future looks uncertain, confidence rests in the One who already stands in tomorrow.

David saw Goliath, but he saw God first. Esther faced danger, but courage moved her forward. Joshua was told, “Be strong and courageous… for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9.

Your confidence is not in your strength, your connections, or your ability to predict tomorrow. Your confidence is in God.

So rise. Pray. Believe and move forward.

Fear may be present, but it does not have the final word.

“For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7

You are an overcomer. Walk in courage. Stand in confidence and live by faith. Take a step with courage, for without works, faith is dead.

PRAYER: Thank you Father for your loving kindness always. Give me courage, confidence and faith to move forward according to your will oh Lord, in Jesus Name 🙏🏽

TOPIC: TREAT OTHERS THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED

“Do to others as you would have them do to you.” Luke 6:31

Mia brought two cupcakes to school, one for herself and one to share. During break, her best friend came running.

“Can I have one?” she asked.

Mia smiled and gave her the bigger cupcake.

Then she noticed a new girl sitting alone. Her clothes were old, and nobody was talking to her.

Mia was about to walk past when she remembered something: “How would I feel if everyone ignored me?”

She went back, smiled at the girl and said, “Come and sit with us!”

The girl’s face lit up.

That day, Mia learned that favouritism can make someone feel small and unwanted, but kindness and inclusiveness can make someone feel loved.

God does not want us to treat people better because they are rich, popular, beautiful, or our friends. Every person is valuable to Him.

💡 REMEMBER: Before you treat someone badly, ask yourself, “Would I want someone to treat me this way?”

PRAYER 🙏🏽:
Dear Jesus, help me to love everyone fairly, to show kindness to those who feel left out, and to treat others the way I want to be treated. In Jesus' Name. Amen. ❤️

CHOOSE LIFE

“I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life.” Deuteronomy 30:19

Our physical birth is not our choice, but spiritual birth is. God has already stretched out His hand of salvation through Jesus Christ. His love has made a way, but He will never force Himself upon us. We must choose for ourselves.

Every day, our choices are declaring whom we want to live by. Making the right choices requires patience and a willingness to trust God’s direction with the fruits of the Holy Spirit working in us. We may not always understand His timing or see the full path ahead, but when we wait on Him and follow His leading, He guides us into what is good and right.

When we choose love instead of hatred, forgiveness instead of malice, self-control instead of the works of the flesh, generosity instead of greed, and humility instead of envy, we are choosing the life of God i.e Zoe, the divine life that comes from Him.

But whenever we deliberately choose sin over obedience, or rush ahead without seeking God’s wisdom, we are choosing a path with consequences.

God says, “Choose life.” Not merely existence, but a life that is connected to Him, filled with His Spirit, governed by His truth and sustained by His presence.

Jesus is the door to that life.

Choose God today. Choose Christ. Choose Zoe. Choose life. Be patient, trust His direction, and allow Him to guide your steps.

PRAYER:
Father, I choose You. Help me daily to reject everything that leads me away from You and to walk in the life, love and nature of Christ. Teach me to be patient, to trust Your direction, and to wait for Your guidance before making decisions. Let my choices continually reflect that I belong to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

TOPIC ✍🏽: ASK—YOUR FATHER HAS ENOUGH

MEMORY VERSE 📖: “Ask, and it will be given to you” Matthew 7:7a

One day, the older brother of the prodigal son became angry when his father celebrated his younger brother’s return. He complained, “You never gave me even a young goat to celebrate with my friends!” But his father replied, “My son, you are always with me, and everything I have is yours.” Luke 15:31

Can you imagine? He was living in his father’s house, surrounded by abundance, yet he never asked!

Sometimes we are like that too. We think, “Maybe God won’t give me,” "they won't give me", or "they won't help me" so we never ask. But our Heavenly Father loves us and delights in giving good things to His children.

Don’t be afraid to ask. Pray boldly. Dream with God. Ask according to His will and trust His wisdom.

Your Father’s supply is greater than your imagination!

Remember: God can do exceedingly, abundantly above all we ask or think. Ephesians 3:20

🙏 PRAYER: Dear Jesus, help me to trust Your goodness and boldly ask my Father for the things I need. In Jesus Name 🙏🏽

DON’T BE PETTY

“It is to one’s glory to overlook an offence.” Proverbs 19:11

Pettiness is the habit of caring too much about small, unimportant things, or acting mean and ungenerous over tiny issues.

Pettiness may look small, but it can produce big damage. A misunderstood message, an unreturned greeting, a forgotten invitation, or a minor disagreement can become a seed of offence when we choose to hold on to it.

In the church, pettiness creates strife, suspicion, division and misunderstanding. People begin taking sides, relationships become strained, and the enemy gains room to work where love should dwell.

Remember, we are one body in Christ. Not every offence deserves a response, and not every misunderstanding needs to become a battle.

Always choose maturity over pettiness.
Choose forgiveness over offence.
Choose love over being right.

When we overlook the little things, we protect the greater thing; our strength in unity. Let us all avoid pettiness and continue to experience the power in the fellowship of the brethren.

PRAYER: Lord, give me the grace to overlook offences, to walk in love, and to never become a source of strife in your church. In Jesus Name. Amen.
