*_TOPIC:_* *REBUILD YOUR ALTAR*

*_SCRIPTURE:_* _And Elijah said unto all the people, Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down-(1Kings 18:30)._

*MESSAGE:* The altar is the place for divine connectivity. A place where God reveals himself. The altar is a very sensitive part of everyone's life because through it, we encounter God. The tragedy of life is that, for some it is no longer functional because sin and perpertual neglect has torn it down.

For the oil on the altar to burn well, the life behind it must be holy. In this perverted generation, those who will rebuild their altar must be separated from the crowd in all ways that does not glorify God. Even if it means standing alone.

Beloved, what has broken down your altar? Leventicus 6:12-13 says "The altar fire must not go off". Is the fire on your altar still burning or is it the covered by cold ashes? In these last days, one must take the place of prayer very seriously irrespective of our schedules.

Just like Elijah, we too must set aside all sinful ways and begin to repair our altar that was thrown down. We must dedicate quality time to God to seek him daily not necessarily just for the purpose of asking but for a quality relationship that will transform life.

*_REFLECTION QUESTION:_* Is your altar of consecration still functional?

_*MY COUNSEL:*_
1). Set aside all things that makes your prayer altar not to function well.

2). Dedicate your time into having a quality relationship with God in the place of prayer.

*_NUGGET FOR THE DAY:_* The quality of your altar shows the quality of your relationship with God

1). _Pray for the grace to have a function prayer life-(Zac.12:10)._
2). _Pray for the fire of consecration at the place prayer._
3). _Pray for spiritual revival of your life._
4). _Pray concerning your private intentions._

Beginning The Year With The Lord 2023 Prayer Programme.

Day one Topic: Have a broken & contrite heart (Psalm 51:17).

You may find your Life entangled in a web of sin & evil. You may have made personal effort and promises and New Year resolutions several times, gone to confession but to no avail. Jesus Christ is the only one who can help us and save us from sin " I will take away your stony heart and give you a heart of flesh" Eze 36:26. This promise has been accomplished on the cross of Calvary. No sin is too big, no sin is too secret not to be forgiven.

Prayer points
1.Thank the lord for the cross of salvation.
2. Acknowledge and confess your sins knowingly and unknowingly.
3. Ask for the forgiveness of the sins of ur family.
4. Pray for the forgiveness of the sins of our leaders and Nigeria at large.
5. Prayer for your needs and private intentions.
