Monday 17th, August 2026

Scripture:: Psalms 25:3-5
Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths.⁵Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

Reflection : God has made it clear that He will show mercy to those He chooses. He has promised to be compassionate to those He has chosen to show mercy to. His grace is available to all who seek it.

Prayer: Thank you Lord for the gift of a new week. Show me the right way to go and the path to follow today in Jesus name. Amen

Scripture:: Lamentations 3:22-23
It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. ²³They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Reflection : God's mercy and grace is a ticket that seal our relationship with God.

Prayer: Thank you Lord, help me to remember that my relationship with you is based on your grace and mercy, not on what I do for you in Jesus name. Amen

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Reflection : The mission of Jesus on earth is to save us not to condemn us. Therefore,there is no condemnation to those who love Jesus and who are called by his name.

Prayer: Thank you Lord for your word, I overcome every weapon of condemnation in Jesus name.

For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

Reflection : God is greater than any sorrow.He will fill you with light and joy in your heart today.

Prayer: Thank you Lord for providing peace and hope in times of sadness. Rescue me from the overwhelming emotions that threaten to drag me into a place of hopelessness and defeat in Jesus name.

Scripture:: Psalms 132:1-5
Lord, remember David, and all his afflictions:
²How he sware unto the Lord, and vowed unto the mighty God of Jacob;
³Surely I will not come into the tabernacle of my house, nor go up into my bed;
⁴I will not give sleep to mine eyes, or slumber to mine eyelids,
⁵Until I find out a place for the Lord, an habitation for the mighty God of Jacob

Reflection : This is one secret to the blessings of David. When we take priority in things of God, He take our matters personal to heart.

Prayer: Help me Lord to be dedicated and committed to kingdom agenda in Jesus name.

And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, ⁹Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.

Reflection : In our most miserable state, God is always there to make provision for us if we are willing to obey Him.

Prayer: Help me Lord to be obedient to your instructions in Jesus name.

Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.²Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the Lord our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

Reflection : Those that truly depends on God are not disappointed.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, grant me humility to depend on you with my whole heart in Jesus name.
